"No," His eyes bore to thin slits regarding the knight. "I shan't."

"Alex, it's only going to be for this short period till you retrieve your kingdom." Roe sighed exasperated, roughly running a hand down his even rougher face.

"It's totally unacceptable," Alexandra shook his lowered head, dark locks cascading down his forehead.

"Well suite yourself then," Roe rolled his eyes walking for the wooden door. His bare feet were matted in dirt, the earthy untiled ground having grazed soft skin leaving it dry and cracked at the bottom.

"A fat queen?" Alexandra's voice rose a few pitches higher gauging Roe to halt in his steps. "No one wants a fat queen, not even a fat king or fat people."

Roe chuckled at Alexandra's bewildered face placing a hand over his beating heart. "Exactly it'll make it easier for you not to fall for a noble and the people will easily let go of her as a queen."

He walked to the young king lazily slinging an arm over his shoulder, "We don't want another forbidden love of a noble and normal elephant girl story."

Alexandra released a long drawl of air, exasperatedly dropping in his wooden chair and pinching the bridge of his nose in between his fore fingers. "Whatever."

"I'll be announcing to everyone at diner today." Roe's smile sparkled making a gun sign with his fingers and dramatically twirling gauging a chuckle from Alexandra and exiting out the room.

Alexandra, loosened his tie knot around his neck and lazily unbuttoning his heavy coat. The temperatures recently had been skin burning but he took it on himself to always be draped in a black cloak. Draping the long coat over his leather chair, he retrieved a stack of papers in a drawe—

"Your Highness."

A servant appeared at the door bowing in respect when the King's eyes landed on him. Alexandra vaguely bobbed his head urging the young teenager boy to continue.

"Another young girl has arrived at camp today," His body was seemingly dripping in sweat and he blinked everywhere avoiding Alexandra's gaze.

"Okay." Alexandra blinked slow. This must have been his mother's doing, she must have been discreetly sending servants to attack him.

The nervous teenager dipped his head again, sweat visibly sticking to his random strands of hair, "Forgive my judgmental language your highness but I bid such news because the maiden is anything but tame."

Alexandra leashed a hot breath through his nostrils. In a blink of an eye, Alexandra rose from his chair cloudy gaze barely acknowledging the young boy anymore who cowered away from the threshold as he flamed passed his sweat radiating body.
