Amazons are a tribe of female warriors in Greek myth who were thought to live in Central Asia or North Africa. Legends said that they mated with other tribes to preserve their race, but kept only female infants. Later historians claimed that the Amazons were a tribe of men and women in which both sexes fought in battles. In Amazonian culture: women are treasured, held to the highest stature, taught to be strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. Amazon leaders decided to keep a hand selected group of the strong and most capable men to keep the female line strong. Every twenty five years the leaders hold a battle ring . Putting all the men eighteen yeas and older in to fight. It doesn't stop until only 25 men are left. Then they are rewarded, cleaned , able to live, skipping the next ring fighting. A male Amazon with skill and the drive life expectancy is around 18 to 50.
