Chapter Three {Jack}

"Well, I was doing something I had given up long ago...."

Flashback

"Hey man hurry up will yea!" I shouted at my friend as he picked up the stolen object off the ground.

"Dude I'm sorry I wasn't expecting the alarms!" He shouted as we both bolted out of the store.

We had many bottles of alcohol in our hands along with a couple of bags of candy. You see Vic and I aren't the most wealthy teens living in the kingdom, we have nearly no money at all, so this is how we get the things we need.

As we neared my house we heard the whistle of the guards.

"Shit." we both whispered under our breathe.

We had been caught. We didn't turn around in fear of being shot. Our hands were in the air and we remained silent. They confiscated the stolen objects and slapped hand cuffs on our wrists.

After a while of walking we found our selves in the kingdom police department.

"Name and age." The man standing told us.

"Vic Fuentes, 18." my partner in crime spoke with his head low.

"Jack Barakat, 16."

"How can we contact your parents Jack?" I hated this question. Vic was 18 so he could do fuck all and I was still a baby.

"Vic is my legal guardian." it was true. My parents had died many years ago. Good old King Gaskarth had then slaughter for paying taxes late. Vic found me trying to buy my own groceries and we became friends.

"You two are under arrest." the guard said dragging us out of the place.

Flash back over

I stayed there for a few months before Vic and I broke out. They found him but I'm still on the run

"Oh wow." Prince Gaskarth said, "why are you in my garden then?"

"I panicked and found this opening so hey." I said trying to walk over to him with out stepping on his flowers.

"Hey."

"I'll be going now." I tried to hurry away but his thin fingers grasped my arm.

"Um I can make your time much easier," he suggested, "I get very lonely out here, so I can just hid you here if you'd spend some time with me out here and help me do some cleaning around the garden and put away my laundry."

It seemed easier enough.

"Deal."
