"So, we just gone act like what happened yesterday didn't go off?"

Sipping her margarita , Kam looked at her friends from her position on her husband's chest. Leylani waved it off preferring to look at Bryson, Jilly and Dejounte playing dominoes while Nadia glared and Aziah glanced at them all confused.

The first time these bitches convince me to have my past and future in the same place there's apparently some other drama going on. I'm just trying to make sure Jilly doesn't try me or my kids and now I may have to regulate.

Holding her son closer , Aziah kissed the infant's head while her four year old daughter continued to play dolls with Kyrie.

"It's irrelevant Kam." Nadia dismissed the subject easily. She wasn't phased by it, or at least she told herself she wasn't.

"So it's not true then?" Kam pressed inciting Josh to pinch her arm softly "What mi cyan ask a simple question nuh?"

"No , especially when it's not your business babe."

Standing his ground Josh gave the ladies apologetic looks while Kam huffed.

"Exactly but you know since Kam wants to ask , I have a question myself. How did it feel to take someone's man so expertly Kam? More importantly how did you avoid those hands because I heard Shannon can fight."

Rolling her neck, Laylani levelled with Kam earning the attention of everyone with the volume of her query. Always one for drama, Jilly laughed before rushing over just as Josh began to get up bringing Kam with him for safety reasons.

"She didn't take anyone's man, I was single and I pursued her. Quit while you're ahead Lani."

Grabbing his wife's hand , Josh pulled Kam away from the noise. He could see from the way her shoulders were tensing that each second he left her there was one more second closer to Lani's death.
