Taken... AGAIN?!

Chapter 6

Kenzie's POV

I walk down the stairs slowly contemplating what I'm going to say to Alexis...

I'm thinking of coming clean, so she knows what's bound to happen. But if I do that, she'll surely say no...

I sigh and turn the corner into the living room where Chad is sitting on the couch playing COD. "Do you want me to come with you?" Jack whispers in my ear.

I shake my head and smile. "Go shoot his ass for me." I kiss his check and he smiles.

"Will do babe." He kisses my cheek in return and runs over to Chad, who throws him a controller.

"I have orders to shoot your ass Buzlic."

"From who?"

"My lovely girl."

Chad throws his head back against the couch and sends a smile my way. "You had to get his hopes up, didn't you?" He asks.

"Just so I can kick your asses later." I say smirking. I turn around and flip my hair for effect before walking out of the room.

"Somebody's sass meters up today." A smug voice says from in front of me.

I smile sheepishly at her. "You could say that."

She rests her elbows on the island in front of her. "What the hell do you think you're doing Kenz?"

I stare at her. "What do you mean?"

"What are you doing with him?"

My eyes widen in shock. "How did you-"

"Sarah."

I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "Lex, i can't tell you..."

"You can tell me anything Kenz. Is he threatening you?"

I nod slowly. "I can't tell you Lex. Not here. Not with the boys right out there."

She stands up straight. "Then let's go!" She runs over to me and grabs my arm, dragging me in the living room.

"We'll be back!" Lex calls over her shoulder.

Both boys turn away from the game and give us confused looks. "Where are you going?!" Jack calls as Alexis drags me through the front door.

He doesn't get an answer.

"Lex you don't have to drag me." I say trying to pull my arm back.

"Fine." She drops my arm and looks back. "In front, now."

I roll my eyes at her and walk in front. "Where are we going?"

"Tree house."

I laugh. "Really?"

She giggles. "Yeah really, you're pregnant and I'm lazy, we're not going far."

I laugh. "I may be pregnant but I'm defiantly not as lazy as you."

I points her finger at me. "Yet!" She declares.

I shake my head. "Okay. First one to the tree house gets to pick the movie tonight."

"Done."

"3,2,1... GO!" I shout.

I run as fast as I can to the tree house, using my longer legs to my advantage. "Haha. I get to pick the movie!" I say poking my tongue out at her.

She pouts and crosses her arms. "Damn you short legs." [#shortgirlproblems !! 😄😄]

I start to climb the ladder and hit the hatch making it swing open. "How long has it been since we were in here?" I shout down at her as I pull myself up into the pretty big playroom.
