Kuroes pov

I sigh as we enter the cabin. They tell me to check the upstairs and i only nod and head up looking around.  I start checking each room then i entered the bathroom and see a zombie eating someone and i quickly  stab it in the head. Then i stab the person it was eating in the head. I get the lightest body and drag it out since i finished checking all the other rooms.  As i drag the body down the stairs and fell.  I braced myself for the hit yet it didn't come.  I was in someones arms.  I turned to see lucas and i smile and stand. "heh thanks  lucas." his facial expression doesn't change.  It was only a blank he turned his head.  "yeah your welcome anyway you need help getting that outside?" he said turning back to me.  I nod and he picks it up and easily takes it down the stairs and i grab the other one dragging it to the stairs.  I smile as lucas picks it up with ease as well and takes it down the stairs and outside.  I head down the stairs and see proxy boarding up possible  entry ways inside the house beside the way we came in. I smile and help her. After finishing securing  the place we gather in the living room and discuss what we will be doing tomorrow.  Lucas  will be hunting.  I will be planting crops and proxy will be with lucas making sure he doesn't get surrounded by zombies while shooting.  I tell them after finishing planting crops i can go fishing and they nod in agreement.  We take turns sleeping lucas at half the night.  Proxy the other half and me for morning. Once everyone is up we say our goodbyes for now and i go and get to planting.

Lucas pov

I stay silent as usual as we walk away from kuroe.  Kuroe is really short. Even shorter than proxy.  Hmm and she has more curves then proxy.  She's  cute unlike proxy who is sorta like my sister. Wait why am i thinking about kuroe? Ugh get your mind out of it lucas.  "we're  here." proxy says and i nod and find a good place to hide and i look around looking for something then see a rabbit.  I shoot it then another.  One after another i get quite a lot.  I smile and put them in a bag. I carry it to proxy and she nods and we head back.

Kuroe pov

After i finished the crops i fish for fish.  I get quiet a lot.  Honestly surprised.  I got about 10 carp.  20 catfish and i start to head back and i try make it back the best i can. Then i see lucas i smile seeing he came alone.  "hey need help with that?  You caught a lot." i nod and he carries it easily as i head back with  him.  I should  really exercise. I thought to myself. "you don't need to do anything.  It's  just what you want to do." lucas said with a shrug. "are you a mind reader?" i asked surprised. "maybe.  You tell me." he smirks.  "hey that's  the first time I've  seen you smile." i said and he shook his head. "alright  then enjoy it while it lasts." he says as he pays attention ahead of us. 

Proxy pov

I seen them get back and i couldn't believe my eyes.  I seen lucas smiling with a pink tint on his cheeks.  I giggled to myself as i seen him go back to his usual face.  "glad to see you two made it back in one piece and seems you caught a lot of fish kuroe. " i smiled and she squeaked a little.  "oh yeah my parents used to get mad at me and make me spend a whole day and night outside so i adapted and yeah heh" she smiles and i sigh.  "sounds like they were rough on you." i said and she only shook her head.  "no it's  nothing like that.  They just didn't like me being born.  They didn't want a kid so.." she paused then sighed.  "I'm  an accident..." i was about to say something but lucas started talking.  "you know you aren't  an accident.  Someone wanted you to be here. Someone that wasn't  your parents.  But someone wanted you alive so there you are.  Alive,  Beautiful, and smart. Now never say things like that." he said then she blushed and nodded.  I giggled.  "you two are so cute." i said and they both blushed.  "no I'm  not!" they said in sync. I only laughed.

Kuroe pov

After we finished joking around i got to work skinning the rabbits and getting the meat from them and putting them away and finish gutting the fish.  The other two didn't know how to so they just watched to learn.  Thank god this place had a back up generator heh.  I stick the meat in the freezer then go to clean my hands. I sigh and sit with proxy and lucas. Proxy was already passed out beside me. I smiled and lucas looked like he was about to pass out.  "you know i could take watch for you if your tired.  " i smiled at him.  "nah it's  fine." he replied and i shook my head.  "nope I'm  wide awake.  You sleep while i watch.  You can watch the other half." i said smiling.  He sighed and let me. 

~few hours later~

I was watching outside.  I've only had to kill a few zombies until i seen someone. Not one. Two.  They were covered in blood.  But they were human. "hold it." i said holding a gun up aiming at them.  "hey hey we are just here to help.  We've  been trying to find someone else and looks like we did. We need help." the man said and i sighed.  "drop any weapons you may have.  Just for safety you know.  Anyone could be dangerous." i said with a smile. He nodded and put down his knifes and gun and the girl put down her axe.  "okay I'll  take those inside and you can come in as well." i said and they only nodded and we headed inside after i got their weapons.  I locked the door behind me.  "is it just you two?" i asked and they nodded.  "is it just you?" the girl asked and i giggled and shook my head.  "no i have two friends." i said smiling. Lucas came down and seen the two of them and pointed a gun.  "don't think i won't hesitate to shoot stranger.  Kuroe are you okay?" lucas said. I nodded and told him to put his gun down and he did. "kuroe aye?  Well I'm kc and this is eliza." kc said.  I smiled.  "thanks now are you two bitten?" i asked.  "no I'm  not. Neither is kc." Eliza said and i nodded. "good well are you guys going to help out if you stay?" i asked.  "heck yeah.  I'm  awesome at hunting. Eliza is really good at making medicine." i nod and smile then look at Lucas  and he nods in approval. "then it's  settled. You can stay. I'll  take you guys to your room.  You  must be tired." i said they nod and set down their backpacks and follow me and bring them to a room with a bed and tell them goodnight and go to lucas. "I'm  heading to bed k?" i said and he nods.  "alright but be careful next time someone comes. I don't want anything happening to you." i giggle and nod.  "alright goodnight  lucas." i hug him and head to bed.
