So I'm writing this thing called poetry,
I guess it's not what normal teens do in free time,
Well, I love poetry,
And I don't have free time, i have dream time,
~
My favorite word is dichotomy,
It speaks to me,
No sugar coat,
Just pure reality,
~
Opposites cannot exist without eachother,
That is a known fact,
But why is different a bad thing?
Different pushes away but opposites attract,
~
The "better" different abash the less,
"differents" are like those lost puzzle pieces,
They do fit, but not with eachother,
They want to change, but this is regressive,
~
One piece will have a hole,
The other will have an extra appendage,
Put them together,
And it's a prefect message,
~
Without ones opposite,
One cannot and will not exist,
They somehow even out,
But two differents is a risk,
~
Opposites are more different then different,
They're opposites,
Differents have some similarities,
But they are kept in a closet,
~
Differents choose to better their similarities,
To be better than others,
To be unique,
To make others feel like losers,
~
Maybe that's why opposites attract,
They simply cannot be better,
There's no way to compare them,
Not even their temper,
~
Differents strive to be unique,
To stand out from their prison,
Prison of those full of hatred for others,
But unique means different,
~
They strive for the impossible,
They think they want unique,
Which is somewhat true,
But they're truly striving to be elite,
~
That's both good and bad,
Allways push yourself to better you,
But once you push yourself to be better than others,
You need a slap in the face with a shoe,
~
Better yourself for yourself ,
Not for vanity,
You'll lose sight of your dreams,
But sadly we accept that as humanity,
~
It's inevitable,
It's anarchy,
And we the people are the government,
our good humanity is at jeapordy.
