Start wars for peace,
Use peace for power,
Use power for ownership,
Use ownership for control,

Control takes freedom,
Nothing is left,
And then I realize,
It's for the best,

I take a look around,
And can't help but think,
How ungrateful I was,
Everythings gone in a blink,

It's crazy how we think,
That we're strong and clean,
But once materials are gone,
We're nothing but weak,

Moments I've wasted,
I miss so dearly,
All because I,
I didn't think clearly,

A thousand moments I'd taken for granted,
Something I can't take back from before,
All because I had assumed,
That I'd have a thousand more
