*At home* I run through the doors of my house hoping to make it to my room before my dad catches me but of course I was too slow, I feel my dad pull my ponytail towards him and I feel my body yank back towards him, "ow" I say I look over my shoulder to see my dad smirking he throws me to the ground and starts kicking me repeatedly until I started coughing up blood, before he walked he spit in my face and said " I wish you were dead" I lay curled up in a ball on the floor for a bit crying, until i have enough strentgh to push my self up with my non-broken arm and ran up to my room, as soon as I stepped foot in my room I jumped onto my bed and fell asleep straight away. *12 years later* Emmas P.O.V: *beep beep* Ugh! stupid alarm clock why are these things invented?! I then turn on my right to see the time is 8:00am, FUCK SHIT OMG FUCK IM GONNA BE LATE HOLY JESUS BIBLE, I quickly run into my bathroom and have a quick shower and wash my hair, after that I run out in an attempt to be fast instead slipping on a water puddle and falling on my ass, I swear today hates me I push myself up and quickly dry myself off and throw on this outift

I don't have time to tie my hair so I throw on a beanie to handle my crazy hair, today is the first day back at highschool and I look like shit per usual. I walk down the steps to see my dad sleeping with yet again beer surrounding him I shake my head in disapointment and walk out the door grabbing my keys. I hop in my car I brought and start the engine and drive to school "Great here we go again" I say in a sniffle. When I arrive at school I hop out and walk through the doors with my head down low I can feel the stares im getting and I hear all the whispers, "Omg look it's emma the liar" "Ew who let her leave the house looking like that" (blah blah) I always ignore the whispers and stares and act like I dont care but to be honest it hurts a lot, knowing I'm always going to be alone. Well not completely I do have my four best friends Amanda, Olivia, Ellie and Hannah lately Hannah and Ellie have been distant but I didn't think much about it until I saw Hannah snogging Ethan Dolan, She turned her head and saw me standing there with tears in my eyes and laughed and went back to making out with Ethan I look over her shoulder to see Ellie showing me a sympathetic look at first but quickly turned it into a laugh, I quickly walk to my locker to see Olivia and Amanda waiting for me I explain what happened and they comfort me. Authors note: Sorry I've been inactive if you saw in the comments of my last chapter I commented saying because of my school it erased everything on my laptop, but I'm back now!!
