Chapter 4

Autumn's POV

When I get inside the house, I smile and quickly walk to Camila's room. She's sitting on her bed smiling. "What are you so happy about?" I ask.

"Oh nothing, just the fact that Ashton just texted me!" She stands up and gives me a hug. "How was your date with Calum?" She asks and pulls away from the hug.

"Fantastic, amazing, wonderful, I could go on." I smile at her.

"Did you kiss?"

"Maybe" I smirk and walk to her bed and lay down.

She has her mouth wide open while I laugh. "It was so perfect." I say as I flashback to the kiss on the slide.

"Tell me every detail." She says as she sits on the bed in front of me.

"Well, he brought me up on this metal slide, by the way we were at an old park, and we played 21 questions and his last question was if I ever kissed anyone and I said no and we basically made out." I smile remembering it, while Camila is sitting there with her mouth wide open.

"This is huge!" She exclaims.

"I know! I'm so happy." I respond.

We just talk and discuss life until about 7 and then Calum calls me.

I look at Camila and she smiles and mouths to me to answer it.

"Hey Calum!"

"Hello, I just wanted to say hi."

We talk on the phone for about an hour while Camila is texting Ashton and then both Calum and Ashton have to go.

A couple minutes later my mom starts to call me. I have a questioning look on my face and Camila looks and sees that my moms calling.

"Mom?"

"Hello beautiful girl! I just called to tell you that I'm coming home early and I'm about to be on my flight!"

My mouth drops and I start to cry. "Are you serious? What for?"

"Well turns out we didn't need to stay for 8 months so we're coming back!"

"This is great! I'm so ready to see you!"

"I am too... well my flights almost here so I'll call you when it's time for me to get on my next flight!"

"Okay! I love you!" I say as she hangs up.

"So your moms coming home?" Camila asks.

I nod and she hugs me. "I feel like I haven't seen her in 3 years." She lets go and smiles at me.

It's now 10:30 in the morning and we fell asleep at about 9 last night.

I see that I have two missed calls from my mom. I quickly get my phone and call her.

It rings and rings until I give up and I hang up.

I decide to text her instead. "Hey sorry I didn't answer I fell asleep. I'm guessing your on your last flight. I'm so ready to see you..."

Camila is still sleeping so I quietly get up and go to the bathroom.

When I get out I see that Camila is awake. "Good morning" I say and she smiles.

"Good morning." She replies.

I sit down and we discuss what we're going to do today. We decide on a movie.

Our conversation gets interrupted by my phone ringing. It's my mom.

"Hey mom! Is your flight over?"
