The Underworld

The wither

Elinor yawned as she woke up,
"Wake up guys..." No reply,
"WAKE UP!!!"
"Augh! Five more minutes..."
"No."
"Fine..." Both Ruby and James got up, now.

"Let's see if there are more people here!" Suggested Elinor
"Players..." Corrected James, She ignored him.

Ruby crafted some pickaxes made of Stone,
"This will help us mine!" She exclaimed.
"Let's get iron gear before looking for players." Suggested James.

Ruby handed out the pickaxes,
They made a staircase down through the mountain and found a cave, no a Ravine!

"This is awesome!" Shouted Ruby, her voice echoing around the Ravine, it seemed to no longer be exposed to the surface. They all jumped down and landed in water, except Elinor, she was fine,
"I'm still a cat, don't look at me that way."
"Can't you just transform back?" Asked James,
"No, I have been in my Cat form for too long, it has become a permanent part of me." No reply, they were to busy mining iron.

Elinor placed a crafting table,
"You brang that all the way down with you?" Asked Ruby,
"Maybe I'm better at this than you, it's a mobile crafting system." She made a furnace for the iron ore.
"Good idea!" James replied.

Once they smelted the iron ore into ingots, they made iron armour swords and pickaxes.
"We got a lot of iron!" Huffed Ruby proudly.
"Yeah!" Agreed James
They decided to go back to the surface, but when they returned home, there was another player there!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BY OUR HOUSE?!!?" Screamed Elinor, the player left, but not before making a creepy looking statue Infront of the house...
"The wither statue!" Whispered James,
"Don't go near it!" Said Ruby... Too late... Elinor had gone and poked it. The statue burst into a flurry of light, blinding the trio, when the light cleared, they saw it... A spine and rib cage floating there, but not just that... It had three skulls for heads!!!

They all screamed, they all ran in circles, the creature shot explosive skulls at them,
"Get away from the house!!!" Screamed Ruby, they all ran towards the forest, the creature following them, the trees were exploding like they were covered in gasoline,
"That is the wither!!!" Shouted James,
"Now I know what that statue was for!!!" Replied Elinor...

They turned around, took out their bows, and fired, in fact, some of the arrows did set on fire, as they skimmed the skulls. The wither was blinded by the arrows, Elinor jumped up to its back and stabbed it..... The wither exploded into light, and disappeared leaving behind plenty of XP orbs, and a single item...
"The nether star..." Whispered Ruby,
"The legendary item..." Replied James,
Elinor decided to not leave it sitting there so it can de-spawn, so, she picked it up.

When they got home, they worked together to frame it on the bedroom wall, Ruby crafted the item frame, James placed it on the wall, and finally..... Elinor placed this Miraculous item in the frame.

"Looking good!" Said Ruby
"I'm in the mood to go mining again," said Elinor
"Me too!" Replied James

So they did......
