The Underworld

Tokyo

They appeared in a hall... A hall of portals...
"Woah..." Whispered Ruby, her voice echoing around the hall,
"What is this place?" Asked James...
Nobody knew...
"But this doesn't look like Minecraft anymore..." Replied Elinor. And she was right, it wasn't Minecraft, it wasn't a computer game either... This was real...
"So... Which one should we go through?" Asked Ruby,
"I don't know...." Replied Elinor,
"I don't even know why we were sent here, and who put the exit portal there..."
"Well... Let's try this one with Japanese lamps either side of it." Suggested James. So they entered the portal...

They had appeared in a sushi shop! They were sitting at one of the tables, so a waiter came over and said "ご注文はお決まりですか?" Well, Elinor is a massive animé fan, so she translated it for Ruby and James, so she told them that they were speaking Japanese, and told them what they said,
"They said... Can I take your order?"
Elinor translated,
"Ummmm... 私たちはお互いにチャットするためだけにここにいます..." Elinor replied to the waiter, which means "We are just here to chat to eachother..."
"出て行け!" Shouted the waiter, so the trio left the sushi bar,
"What did they say?" Asked James,
"They told us to get out..." Answered Elinor...

So they left the sushi bar, and went to explore... "We must be in Tokyo!" Said Ruby confidentially,
"The people speaking Japanese, the portals design, the sushi bar! It all makes sense now!"
"Sherlock Holmes..." Muttered James,
"Hey!" Shouted Ruby slapping James across the side of his face,
"Owwww..." He moaned
"Come on guys, stop arguing." Said Elinor, but in fact, they were in Tokyo!

But they weren't just in Tokyo... There were strutting aliens all over the place!

Everybody was staring at them, and some even whispered things,
"What's that one saying?" Asked Ruby,
"What are those things..." Replied Elinor,
"And that one?" Said James,
"You don't wanna know..." Elinor meowed, soon they were attacked by some purple alien gang, they threw punches, and kicks, but suddenly stopped... "Leave 'em to me..." Said an English voice behind them, a man with a black goatee came out from the crowd,
"What do you want?" Hissed Elinor,
"What do I want?" Asked the man,
"Don't you mean... What do you want..." "Wha?" Said Ruby, but they were attacked again, the group of aliens ran... But only because of the Godzilla-like creature that emerged from behind them,
"Run!" James screamed... So they did...

The colossal creature followed, crushing everything, and firing lasers out it's mouth... A subway train arrived nearby them,
"Get on the train!!!" Screamed Elinor, in fact everyone was screaming, they boarded the train, and it set off immediately... It was a short ride, but they managed to escape the monster,
"What was that thing?" Panted James,
No reply, everyone was too tired to speak back.

Once they got off the train, and out the subway, they looked for a place to stay, and found a tall building of apartments,
"We should rent one of these," suggested Ruby, so they did, they got room key 101, seemed they were pretty full after that attack, and they got themselves some rest.
