The Monster

They were all awake, eating breakfast, well... What they could eat... It seems most of the food had expired years ago, Ruby turned on the Television, and here's what was on, the news, the news lady said something about the monster in Japanese,
"We already know about that," said Ruby,
"We were there!" She changed the channel, but then remembered it was all in Japanese, so she went to her room and got dressed, so did James and Elinor, they left the TV on... But they left at the worst moment... The news lady said (in Japanese) that the monster still wasn't contained, and it was heading towards JoJo apartments, which is where our trio was staying....

The monster was crashing through town, screams were heard, guns were fired, but nothing stops this colossal creature!

Elinor came out of the bathroom, after having a shower, and getting dressed, she was about to get the others, but half of the building was missing! The half that Ruby and James were on!

Elinor looked down, right by the edge of the building and saw the pile of rubble,
"Ruby! James!" She shouted down at the rubble.
She ran down the stairs and once she made it to the pile she started digging, she dug up Ruby first,
"James is deeper down! And he's badly injured!" Shouted Ruby once she was uncovered, they dug, and dug, until they found James, he was unconscious, with a broken leg, a bleeding nose, and two black eyes,
"Take him to the hospital!" Ordered Elinor, Ruby picked up James, and ran, that's when the alien came back... It was angrier then ever!
"Want a fight? You've got a fight!" Said Elinor before jumping up onto the creatures ankle and climbing further up, the alien swung it's arms in anger, nearly hitting Elinor,(as intended) it roared, and swung it's limbs, Elinor got to its back, and noticed something, it was a giant spike-shaped branch that somehow made its way into the monsters back,
"That must be what's making it so angry!" Elinor thought to herself, so she grabbed it, one hand on the branch, the other on the monsters back, to stay holding on, her left hand slipped, now she was only holding onto the branch! She decided to grab onto the branch with both hands now, there were cheers from the city, drones and helicopters flew in from all over, the cheers motivated Elinor, so she pulled as hard as she could, and managed to yank the giant piece of wood out of the monsters back, the branch fell, Elinor went with it, she landed in a great pile of rubble, but it was mostly people, the cheers turned to screams, as the colossal creature fell backwards onto them, it landed, no-one was hurt from the fall, but many were hurt by the attack. Ruby came back, no James,
"He's in hospital." Ruby explained,
"We should find a different apartment." Suggested Elinor, so they walked off and found some new apartments, they were surrounded with photographers, searching for autographs, but they finally found an apartment building, that would stop the fans from entering their apartment.

The television had the news on that night, the news man said,
"今日、中年の女性が暴れ回るモンスターが東京全体を破壊し、多くの人々を殺すのを止めました。" Which means, 'Today a middle aged woman stopped a rampaging monster from destroying the entirety of Tokyo, and from killing many people."

"I remember that!" Said James, as he had recovered by now,
"I was badly injured."

Elinor was asleep, because it was obviously a tiring day. Ruby was watching T.V with James.

And that's where we are going to leave this chapter, with our hero's in the new 'Shinbi apartments'...
