"Mikey! Mikey, stop i'm gonna fall!" Calum cried, hanging onto the swing that was being pushed by Michael for dear life. Michael pushed with all the force he had in his little arms, causing Calum to shut his eyes tight with fear, not wanting to see how far from the ground he was. Then it happened. Exactly what Calum said would happen.
"Cal!" Michael rushed over to a whimpering Calum, one knee in his arms close to his chest.
"Here, i'll make you all betterer, Cal." He said softly, kissing his knee with the high hopes it would fix it.
A teacher rushed over, asking what happened. She carried Calum to the nurses office, with a teary-eyed Michael following the whole time.
"Just a little scrape, Calum. You'll be better in no time." The nurse explained to Calum with a small grin.
"I already feel better. Michael kissed my boo-boo and now it doesn't hurt that much!" Calum exclaimed with a wide smile. This caused Michael to gain a wide smile, blushing like crazy.
☯
"I'm sorry, Cal. I just wanted you to have fun on the swing, but all I did was hurt you." Michael said with a pout and a tear invhing out of his eye.
"Its okay, Mikey. I still love you. I can't really stay mad at you!" The brown eyed boy said, giving Michael a tight hug at the waist, putting his head in Michaels neck.
The bus came to a holt, signaling the two boys to make they're way off. The two young boy intertwined fingers, making there way down the small path. Mikey had gotten off first, looking the other way. This inspired Calum to do something. He jumped of the bus, onto Michaels back nearly making them fall.
"To my house, Mikey! Taly Ho!"
☯
They entered the house, Michael still on Calums back.
"Hi Mommy! I fell off a swing today!" Calum informed his mother with a big grin.
"Oh, are you okay?"
"Hes fine! I kissed his boo-boo and then he felt better!" Michael said.
"What would we do without you, Mikey?" Calums mom asked sarcastically, handing Calum a plate of cookies. Michaels eyes widened, already taking a cookie.
"Already Mikey?" Calum asked while giggling.
"I am a growing boy, Calum," he explained while stuffing another cookie in his mouth, "I need food to grow biggerer than you!" Michael quickly exclaimed, running off to Calums room with another cookie in his hand.
"Not if I get biggerer fist, Mikey!" Calum giggled, running after Mikey with a full tray of cookies in his hand.

"What are you thinking about?" Michael asked, sitting on the floor beside Calum, who was now the only one sprawled out on the floor. Calums cheeks brightened, trying to hold a smile.
"Nothing" he quickly replied, hoping that would be enough for Michaels curiosity. But sure enough, it wasn't.
"That's impossible! You can't smile about nothing," Michael protested, "Calum Thomas Hood, what are you thinking about?" Michael asked, now sitting on the others bed. Calum got up with a sigh, sitting with Michael.
"You Mikey. You make me giggle and feel butterflies in my tummy, I love you." Calums cheeks were now a brighter red then before, looking at Michael with wide eyes.
"I love you too, Cal. I always has," Michael said, hugging calum and smiley warmly, "I really love you."
"Forever and always?" Calum asked with a smile.
"Forever and always." Michael reassured, giving Calum a pinky promis then pecking his cheek.
