The Hidden Hand

The Day Before

December 30th, 2019.
Crimson Corporate Storage Warehouse, Lower Manhattan.
The Warehouse was completely set up and the computers were monitoring Saba Technologies Tower, three teams were staking out at three main points around the tower with cameras in their cars capturing every bit of information they could store. The cameras were sending the video that they captured every five minutes back to the main monitors and the teams at the Warehouse were combing through the videos making sure that they didn't miss anything important that could be used, so far nothing out of the ordinary had occurred apart from the growing number of Hand members arriving at the building every hour. Anthony was busy preparing the team that would enter the tower through the basement level of the building, a small group that would make their way up the tower which as they spoke an undercover operative was gaining the floor plans to the building,
"So we are in agreement then?" Anthony questions
"yes sir, we will use the use the elevator shaft to access the top floor" a member says
"good, so far the teams monitoring the tower have not reported anything out of the ordinary but I fear there may be activity beginning tonight" Anthony says
"the tower is acting as shielding from the energy wave so all members of The Hand must be taking shelter" the assistant says
"but why shield themselves from that wave? their electronic devices are what broadcast what ever it is that controls people into peoples heads" Anthony states
"they would need to if members of The Hand use their own technology" a member suggests
"if that's the case it makes a confrontation impossible to avoid" Anthony says as he looks over at one of the monitors, looking over some of the details.

As Anthony looked over the details one of his Lieutenants walked up with papers in hand, walking up to Anthony said man turned and eyed his Lieutenant,
"what is it?" Anthony questions
"we've got proper information regarding the security system inside the tower" the Lieutenant says handing Anthony the papers in his hand
"so after we pass through the maintenance door, we need to find the elevator shaft and from this information it isn't far from the door we're entering through" Anthony says as he reads over the information on the papers
"the cameras are standard Saba branded security cameras, the further up the tower you go the more advanced the security gets" the Lieutenant explains
"so any suggestions on getting past the cameras leading to the elevator shaft?" Anthony questions
"they aren't due for the same maintenance as the one at our point of entry but they are fixed in position and have a very big blind spot, we don't know about security patrols in that area though" the Lieutenant explains
"so you're saying that they are easily passable?" Anthony questions
"indeed sir" the Lieutenant confirms
"then we know our entry strategy now all we need to do is put a stop to their plan before it starts" Anthony says as the entry team follow him as he walks towards a group of boxes near the van.

Arriving at he van they begin to prepare it for tomorrows events, as they would be taking the van to the access point of the subway tunnels that then made its way to the basement level of Saba Technologies. This was the final time they could attempt to stop The Hand from achieving their plan, if they did succeed tomorrow in stopping The Hand then all hope would be lost and nothing would be able to change the outcome, for what ever was about to happen to the world they were the only hope and this would be the final confrontation between The Hand and Crimson Union with only one winner, there was no room for error.

Saba Technologies, Lower Manhattan.
The day was very soon and all members of The Hand were present in preparation for the events that were to come in the next day, The Hand knew that Crimson Union had people surveying the building trying to find something but then this far into The Hands goals it was useless as The Hand was bound for a victory. Although The Hand didn't know as of yet how Crimson Union were going to attempt their break in they did however secretly beef up the security on the top floor of the building to ensure that nothing could potentially alter the change to the new world.

As the last of The Hands members arrived at the building a lockdown procedure was engaged, the main doors and loading bay doors of the building were sealed and locked with metal shutters rolling down across all first floor windows and doors effectively blocking out the entire world from seeing into the building in any way. Sebastian doubted very much that anyone in Crimson Union knew of such a feature of the building even if a member was able to somehow sneak in undetected, that was comforting but at the moment he couldn't get comfortable as tomorrow night would begin the events that would create the new world that The Hand had been seeking for over 100 years.

The day was ending and tomorrow would come and with it the final day of the current world, all the death and sacrifice would not be in vain and the years of planning would finally be worth its weight in gold. The Hand would rise above the new world as its ruling law with the rest of humanity obeying their every order, their every word. The lockdown was now complete and the main entrances to the building were now unable to be entered, although the members of The Hand prided themselves on their self control on a number of things it couldn't be helped that they all felt excitement at was was about to happen. The day of the current worlds rules were numbered and soon The Hands own ruling hands would take over and things would change, indeed they would change but that was for tomorrow as of now things needed to be checked and checked again as nothing could go wrong, no one in The Hand would allow it.

The final confrontation between The Hand and Crimson Union, 100 years in the making with death and ruined lives left behind as the two groups fought, it has come down to this the 31st of December 2019 and at the strike of midnight one of two things would happen, either The Hand wins or Crimson Union wins.
