                                         ☠️

Noen sits in his apartment, well "their" apartment, anxiety on his face and body as his friend Kyle sits beside him, phoning every single friend of Evelyn's, trying to find her.

It's like the girl never existed, gone with the wind and no one can find her. Well Kyle is positive at least one friend knows where she is, they're just not willing to tell.

But this insane view of Noen is making him call back a few times to make sure. He's never seen the dude so depressed.

"Well? Did they say anything?"

"No... no news."

Noen stood up pacing around the room, his hands on the back of his head as he feels so fucking distressed he can barely breathe.

"Why am I so fucking dumb. How the fuck am I going to find her?! Let alone make her forgive me..?" Desperate voice rips through the air as it clouds Kyle's thoughts even more, he only sighs and looks down, having no idea how to answer his best friend.

"She always comes back to you... she'll come back again, I don't know?" He just shrugs, so tired of this messed up situation, his head experiencing twenty migraines at a time.

"But... I've never done something THIS messed up before.." Noen speaks, feeling a tad bit better since Kyle's words are true. Through thick and thin, they go back to each other.

"And it's usually the next day... it's been three since I last saw her."

Kyle sighs again, wanting to throw a fit at Noen and make him shut up, but he's got no will or energy in him to do anything. He's been staying over at Noen's, looking after him so the dude doesn't accidentally slip on a knife or something. God knows what he could do at this state.

"Maybe you should just give her time..." Kyle tries to be the voice of reason, but his best friend clearly doesn't agree.

"Are you mad?! If I'm going to give her time, that's just more space for her to hate me!" He shouts in terror, still pacing around the room before grabbing Evelyn's favourite sweater and sitting down. Hugging it and breathing in whatever's left of this girl, his leg tapping against the floor like crazy.

Kyle looks at the male and shakes his head a bit.

"If you're so goddamn crazy about this girl, why did you even cheat on her in the first place?" He finally popped the question, which made Noen bury his face into that sweater.

"Ugh..." Came his voice, muffled and distorted.

"I don't know..." He lifted his face as it gone form pale to a little red, his heart rate going up.

"Because she always came back to me... always ran after me.. always followed me around like a lost puppy.. I just felt like I had nothing to lose at that moment. I thought that even if I did kiss Noah, she'd still come back."

Noen sighed very heavily, he sounded so stupid even to himself. Not to mention Kyle's dumbfounded face.

"This girl really... Maybe it was always the opposite? Maybe you were the one running back to her, not even realising it?" Kyle thought about it from another point of view.

"I don't know... it doesn't matter."

Noen stood up again, holding the sweater in his hands and rubbing his eyes with his sleeve, salty tears roll down his face once again.

"Hey..." Kyle stood up and hugged Noen, patting his back. "You should get some sleep... You haven't slept since the party."

The boy was so stressed and filled with anxiety, he couldn't even blink right. His eyes so red, they almost looked like theyre bleeding.

"Yeah... yeah..." Noen agrees as he takes a big breath in to calm himself down.

"You should rest too... go home, Kyle." He pats his friend's back as he feels bad for dragging Kyle through all this.

"Okay. I'll come back at 10." Kyle nods his head and shows a smile. "We'll find her... We will." He assures Noen, before moving to the hallway to put his shoes on.

The two parted ways at about 2AM as it was for the better to get some rest and put this mess to sleep at least for a few hours.

Noen made his way to the bed and laid down, eyes staring up at the ceiling, the room quiet.

He laid like that for about an hour before he finally let his eyes close and rest. The boy finally fell asleep and about half an hour in, the door bell rang. He instantly shot out of bed, eyes open wide as he thought that Kyle must've forgot something.

Noen stumbled to the door, half awake, half asleep, looking like an absolute zombie. And as he pulled the door open, his heart dropped to the floor.

"Ev- Evelyn?" He stuttered, rubbing his eyes as he blinked a few times, not believing his sight for one minute.

"Noen..."
