Chaos in their hearts

Noen sat at the edge of his bed, scrolling through tiktok as he had woken up about 1 hour ago. Still just in his boxers, sun lightly touching his skin through the blinds as he'd done everything in his power to keep the room dark, but the sun rays ain't giving up for shit. The room was slightly messy, Evelyn's clothes pilled in one corner of the room as she had gone to work very early in the morning.

It was a Saturday, but she'd never say no to extra cash as she had worked as a waitress in a dinner. The two were obviously a couple, on again off again you could say. They've been living in this apartment for about one year now and it's been bad... They fight and scream and break up, just everything bad that could possibly happen to a couple. Evelyn is rather short tempered, she's like a tornado, one wrong move and she'll rip your head off, whilist Noen is more calm and composed, he puts up with her and calms her down, he's got his crazy moments too though.

Despite their horrible fights, they always end up saying sorry, apologizing and crying for forgiveness. It's mostly Evelyn that does so, since she can't possibly imagine her life without Noen. If he's mad she'll follow him, grab his hand, try to cheer him up, apologize about a hundred times and cry. It's usually because of her that he's angry or upset, his character is pretty quirky and he doesn't get easily phased by things.

A few hours pass by and Noen decides to open the fridge only to get dissapointed, the only edible thing being a jar of pickles. He grumbles under his breath, fingers brushing his hair back out of slight frustration since Evelyn told him yesterday she'd go grocery shopping for real this time. Big surprise. She didn't.

But the odds were in his favor as the door handle screeched, keys scraping in the keyhole as the door unlocks, revealing Evelyn with grocery bags in her hands, looking like she's about to fall face first. He quickly walks up to her and presses a kiss to her temple while taking the bags off of her, sighing out of relief.

"Oh would you look at that, little squirt acting cute and homey. Should of yelled the honey I'm home bullshit." She shows a quirky grin and closes the door behind her before taking her shoes and coat off.

"Jesus Christ, would you appreciate anything in life for once?" Noen makes a face at the girl while taking everything out of the bags and putting the food in its rightful spot, before noticing that she got some mcdonald's too, the food still warm. He grinned to himself a bit, she definitely knew him at any kind of hour of the day.

" Aw, stop bitching, I dragged all this home, my arms feel like they're about to fall off. I got you Mcdonalds too, you're hungry right?" Noen humms, pretending like he didn't already notice as he shows a soft smile to the frustrated girl and pulls her in by her waist against him.

The two kiss for a while, Evelyn's fingers playing and brushing through the latter's hair while he gets a bit frisky and pushes his hands into her back pockets of her skinny jeans. But it doesn't go further than that, it hasn't for awhile now. Their sex life isn't the best since Evelyn had turned a cold shoulder to Noen for some reason these past few weeks, it made him think, even over think. He felt a little bit insecure, maybe she didn't find him sexually attractive anymore? Maybe she's fucking some other dude behind his back? Either way she knows how to keep him guessing and questioning everything.

Since day one Noen has always done more for Evelyn than she ever could already, he could damn well dump her and move on, but he can't. She's got him wrapped around her little finger and he can't get her out of his mind. Maybe the fact that she's so unpredictable and unique intrigues him, or maybe it's something else, but he just falls in love with her all over again when she shows affection, cuteness or just anything good.

"Should I just quit?" It's almost 1am and Evelyn rubbs her stinging eyes from the rough light of her laptop, she's been writing a project for a subject in her collage. Noen was still in school, but it would end soon since, he's been getting ready for exams.

"Up to you, sweetpea. Wait... wait no I take it back." It only later registered what she really meant and he shrugged it off, he wouldn't let her do that, not after how hard she's worked. She looked over at him, eyes sparkling at bit, because Noen knows what to say to make her feel better. She plopped down beside him on the bed and rested her chin on his shoulder, squinting her eyes a bit a the math homework he was doing.

" Need help?" She raised a brow, Evelyn always offered help with Noen's homework, she could be a lot of things and smart was one of them. The two sat around for another hour and finished their work before going to sleep, the girl had slept on top of Noen as he held her close to him, so close she couldn't ever run away....
