3 years Later.........

A lot changed this past two years, I got to stay with my real parents and also Umma but I was mostly in school

Abba wanted to transfer Umma to Abuja but she said she was okay with bauchi, he also renovated her house to a beautiful three bedroom house and in five days in going to become Mrs. Khairiyah Aadil Al-Basheer

The jitters that gives me

My life changed a lot this past three years and I'm very grateful cause you don't get to be so lucky like me everyday

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a buzzing sound "he has been calling you since" Binta pointed with to me with the yam in her hand and I nodded

Answering the FaceTime call I saw his handsome face staring at the screen, he grinned when he saw me and I didn't even get to talk before Binta jumped and blocked my face

"You two are crazy koh?" She glared at me and raised the phone to her face "you're not meant to see her till it's necessary" and she cut the call

"Don't you know he's not meant to see you till after your Gyaran jiki"

"You're so annoying" I groaned and stood up walking to the yam wrapped up in a newspaper that Binta was eating from

"And you love me" she sing-songed "oh no I don't" I used the time she used and we both started laughing at the horrible voices

"Where is hamrah and Noor?" I asked and Binta shrugged "they are still not back maybe they got lost or kidnapped" Binta clicked her tinge

"Wallahi an ga en matan Abuja ba dolle bah, suka San nawa zasuyi da takalmi daya kawai (they have seen Abuja ladies why wouldn't they, do they know how much they will make from one shoe)" we burst into fits of laughter then it died down when a knock came

"Wanene? (Who is it?)"

"Audu neh, wai ki hito mai gyaran jiki tana jira (it's Audu, that you should come out the spa woman is here)"

"Toh, Ganinan"  i replied throwing a hijab on and blew a kiss to Binta "when they all arrive please bring food for them and all and Ya Aisha said she'll be here in an hour or so" I explained

"How many are they?"

"I don't know but I know Hajara, Bilkisu, Mairo and Summaya are coming but I don't know"

"Tohm" I nodded and closed the door walking to Ummas room and I knocked then entered, Umma was talking with the woman and I smiled and hugged her greeting the woman

"Ina Uni Hajiya Kubrah" I greeted and she replied sorting out the things on the tiles as she sat on a wooden stool, she was a short and chubby woman from Sokoto and Maiduguri and one of Ummas closest friends

"Dije bamu wuri, ma ci da labarin anjima (give us space we'll continue the gist later)" umma smiled and squeezed my hand then left, I got up and locked the door

We were finally done after about three hours cause this is my last episode of pain and also relief and most importantly beauty

The waxing was the only part, it was made of (honey, caramelized sugar and lime juice and maybe some other stuff) and the one which I suffered the second-most is the Turare (which you are but under a sheet with coal and incense balls)
