Marinette's pov

Today is just another day, unlike any other. Wake up late, go to school, hope there's no akuma attacks, go home, obsess over Adrien, homework, and then out to patrol.

.....Annnnndddd I'm late for school again. 'Where's my backpack? Oh no no no!' I quickly get dressed in my favorite outfit that consists of pink bottoms, a white shirt with a cool pink design, and a jacket to cover up part of my arms. I grab my shoes while racing out my bedroom "door" trying not to fall off the ladder because of the one less hand I have. Making my way down the stairs I managed to put both my shoes on just before I reach the bakery.

       "Mari dear, aren't you going to eat something?" Mama asks me while I look for my bag over by the door.

        " I can't! I'm late again. Bye Mama, bye Papa. I'll see you when I get home?"

        "We have a delivery to make today and we thought that we should go out for a change. We won't be home until tomorrow evening." Papa answered with a smile placing itself on his face as I kissed Mama and him goodbye.

As soon as I reach the front of the school, I see Ayla rushing over to me as I catch my breath from running all the way here.

         " Girl, did you wake up late again?"

         "...Yeah, I did. Wait! Did I miss anything with Adrien already?!" I start to panic at thought of missing out on something with Adrien who is just somehow sooo handsome...

         " Not yet, but you will if you don't turn around right now, "

There he is. So beautiful with his golden blond hair, and those bright green eyes that sparkle, and his fa-

         "MARI! Go say something and stop staring at him like a creep! Seriously girl." Alya pulled me from daydreaming as she shoved me towards him with her hands against my back. Sadly though, the bell rang to send everyone to class.

School went by pretty uneventful for the rest of the day. When the final bell rang to end school for the day, I started to make my way home so I could start patrol a bit early because my parents are gone. I walk into a shallow ally way so I could transform to make thing a little bit quicker. I look around before I slip into the ally when I see Adrien across the way. It almost looks like he's doing the same thing I am. That can't be. There's no way someone like him could be that flirty Chat.

I see a flash of green once Adrien dissaperard into the darkness on the other side. Still watching closely, I see Chat emerge from the ally on his baton heading for the rooftops.

Ok, hang on a second. I saw Adrien disappear, a flash of green right after I couldn't see him, and Chat, the Chat Noir leave from that very spot.......................

Oh. My. God.

I just found out who. Chat Noir is, but he has no idea that I know...

I transform as quick as I can and swing off to go and find him as fast as possible. After about 4 minutes of running, jumping, and swinging from roof to roof, I finally see Chat sitting on the top of a building that looks over the water. I land on the rooftop with a quite thud from my feet. Chat turned around to look at what made the noise to see me standing there. I give him a small smile sensing that this conversation might not end well.

        "Hey, bugaboo what's going on?"

Another nickname, honestly how does he come up with these? I show a quick smile as I sit down next to him; my feet dangling over the edge with my hands resting in my lap, I look down at my hands as I open my mouth to speak, "I'm just on patrol early today. That and umm... I have something that uhh... I want to talk to you about..." My words trailed off as I look over to him seeing his smile falter a little as I said the last part.
