Rip Peter or what really happens when Happy picks the poor kid up in Netherlands. Set during ffh.

"Happy, oh god. Is that really you?"

"Yeah, it's me. What the hell is going on kid?"

Peter almost starts crying. It's too much. Those words, the ones Beck had said to him, "If you were good enough maybe, Tony would still be alive." Those weren't words, that was venom. Peter was hurt, betrayed, and a hot mess (Mentally and physically).

"Peter? Hey talk to me, what's going on?" Happy enters his line of sight once again.

Peter breathes deeply," I'm just really, ugh."

Peter grips his stomach, clearly nauseated.  

"Kid, you're bleeding everywhere. Let me stitch you up."

Happy makes the another stitch.

Peter lets out a strangled, "ow."

"I thought you had super healing."

"That doesn't make it hurt any less."

Happy enters in the needle and pulls it up.

"Happy."

"Just relax Peter. I'm almost done."

Peter almost screams. Relax. Yeah sure.

"Don't tell me to relax Happy!" (blah blah yelling blah)

Peter sits, for fear of falling over if he stands any longer. Peter rests his head in his hands.

"I'm sorry Happy, I shouldn't shout."

Peter feels tears stinging his eyes. He surprised he can feel that since he mostly feels pain and numbness at the same time.

He hears those evil words again.

"If you were good enough maybe, Tony would still be alive."

"I just miss him so much."

The words Peter's been wanting to say for months, finally out there. Finally said aloud.

Peter doesn't hear much of what Happy says, but he does hear a few sentences that make him cry again.

"The one thing he didn't second guess himself about, was choosing you."

"Tony wouldn't have done what he did if he didn't know you were gonna be here."

Then something pops into Peter's mind.

For the next Tony Stark, I choose you.

At that moment, Peter knows everything is going to be okay. Because Tony Stark is with him. Forever.
