This is basically me whumping Tom... Sorry for this horrible fic.

"In one of the earlier versions of the film, there was an idea of Tony taking Peter out for a drink after the Vulture battle. However, it got cut and brought back in Far From Home. " Robert explained during the interview.
Tom blushed, " Yeah, I just couldn't seem to film that specific scene... "
Robert and Tom shared a look, while the press person just looked confused. "What do you mean?"
~
Tom's sitting opposite Downey, they're about to shoot a scene right after the Vulture battle and Tony takes Peter to celebrate. Tom's stomach flips, completely out of nowhere, but he figures it's just nerves. He's usually a little bit nervous while filming with Robert.... Or just filming in general. Tom was supposed to start the scene, but he spaced out for a moment. His stomach lurches dangerously, but not so dangerous he has to run off set.
"-om. Hey, Tom!" He snaps his head up, looking where the sound had come from. Great, that just happened in front of rdj. " did you forget your line? "
Tom shook his head, " No, sorry. I'm ready. "
Peter starts the scene with, " So, Mr. Stark... You aren't mad about what happened with the Vulture, right? "
Tony replies, " No way, kid. I'm actually... Kinda proud. My dad was a jer-"
Tom spaces again, his stomach leaps into his throat. He swallows the bile, studying the table intently. He jumps when he feels a hand clamp down on his shoulder. " You doing okay, Peter? I know that was like, what your second battle? You didn't get yourself hurt or anything, kiddo? "
"Uh, no. Mr. Stark." Tom looks him in the eyes but quickly drops his gaze back to the table. " Just a little shaken... " He remembers what he was supposed to say instead of improv. " Why did you sell the Avengers Tower? "
He replies with his original line, about changing it up, blah blah. Tom opens his mouth to say his line, but all that comes out is a wet choking noise. He presses his sleeve against his mouth and swivels his chair away from Robert. "Oh no-" He throws up, vomit spilling over the costume's poor sleeve. He pukes again, still into the sleeve and sick puddles in his lap. He doesn't realize Robert was comforting him until he gently but firmly removes the hand from Tom's mouth. He hears Downey say something about just letting it all out, and Tom retches but nothing comes up. He dry heaves, and tries to inhale, but chokes on the air and retches emptily again. When he's finally done, he looks at the crew miserably. " Sorry I wrecked the costume. And ruined the scene. "
Robert replies before anyone else can, " It's fine, kid. Let's get you cleaned up and back to your trailer. Or maybe my trailer, we could make a movie night out of it. How does that sound? "
Tom tries and fails to hide his smile, " It sounds great. "
~
They film a few other scenes before getting back to that specific scene a week later. That day Tom hasn't slept and hasn't eaten. He is dizzy, but doesn't say anything. Tom sits in the swivel chair yet again, and awaits the scene's start.
" So, Mr. Stark... You aren't mad about what happened with the Vulture, right? "
" No way, kid. I'm actually... Kinda proud. My dad was a jerk and never did anything for me. I want us to be different. "
" Why did you sell the Avengers Tower? " Tom can't turn to Robert to look him in the eyes like he's supposed to. He's pretty sure if he moves at all, he'll fall out of his chair.
"I don't know, wanted to changed it up, I guess. "
"But you aren't leaving me? Like, leaving me behind or anything?" As soon as he finished his line the world tilts for a second and Tom grips the edge of the table. He doesn't hear Robert saying his line or him telling his name worriedly. The next thing he remembers is he's in Robert's trailer.
He sits up slowly, and finds he's still a little dizzy. " What happened? "
"You tell me." Robert scolds him after he finds out the problem and they go back to filming stuff the next day .
~
Tom's had a headache all day. Just a slight pressure, just enough to be noticeable. He's also seeing sparkles in the corners of his eyes... Not good, but he has to film this scene. He can't ruin it again! They exchange lines and Tom gets halfway through the leaving me line before his head explodes in pain. He squeezes his eyes shut immediately, and puts his head in his hands. The pain is unbearable, he is painfully aware of every word being said around him. But the words resonate, echoing in his ears. He feels two firm hands on his shoulders and he forces himself to meet Downey's intense eyes. He winces at the searing pain the light is burning into his brain, but keeps his eyes open. "Kid, what's wrong with you? Talk to me."
Tom flinched at the sound, and rdj's gaze softens. "That bad, huh?" His voice is now lowered to beneath a whisper, just loud enough that Tom can hear it. He nods, unable to work his voice and also afraid that he might throw up on Robert if he opens his mouth. Downey takes care of him until the next day, when his migraine disappears overnight.
~
" So, Mr. Stark... You aren't mad about what happened with the Vulture, right? " Tom's trying to keep a straight face.
" No way, kid. I'm actually... Kinda proud. My dad was a jerk and never did anything for me. I want us to be different. " Robert pursed his lips, his eyes are full of amusement which indicates he's trying not to laugh as well.
Tom supresses the grin the wants to break out. " Why did you sell the Avengers Tower? "
Robert makes a stupid don't question me face and shrugs. "I don't know, wanted to changed it up, I guess."
"But you aren't leaving me? " Tom bursts out laughing and so does Robert.
~
Tom tried so hard. He really did.
They finally got near of the scene. Peter is supposed to say, " I'm honored to have helped you, Mr. Stark. " But all Tom got out was, " I'm honored to have helpe-" And his voice gave out. He throws his hands in the air in frustration and turns around in his chair so he doesn't have to look at Downey. He finally, through crazy gestures and a wild game of charades, gets Robert to understand he lost his voice. Robert sighs, and explains the situation. Tom really is lucky to have rdj on his side.
~
Tom's stomach hurts so bad... It's kind of ached all day but of course, right before he films this specific scene, his stomach goes from a 2 to a 7. They start the scene off as usual but Tom is sure he can't make it.
"Why did you sell th-" He doubles over and blinks back tears. Robert's at his side instantly, whispering words that comfort him. His stomach hurts so bad he starts crying. Tom's face is beet red from embarrassment and pain, but Robert doesn't care. He just wiped as a Tom's tears and gets him to his trailer in a comfortable position. Turns out it was just a bad lunch that made him sick. It also turns out Tom just really can't film this scene.
~
"Yep, just can't film that scene."
" it's okay, kid. It probably wouldn't have made the cut anyway. "
They share a look and start laughing. Tom sure is lucky to have Robert on his side, but he's even happier to have Robert at his side.
