Peter gets Tony out of a work event by pretending to be sick. Karma strikes.

"Quick, kid!" They've been planning this all day. they even hacked Friday to help them out. Peter will put on makeup to make himself look sick, then pretend to throw up and- Oh no, Tony can't possibly leave Peter alone sick. Guess he can't go to his work event. Oh well. "Here's the makeup, I'll go bait Pepper." Peter quickly applies makeup to make himself look sick, then positions himself in front of the toilet.

Tony hesitates, " You know you don't have to-"

" Go! "

Tony springs over the Pepper's office, knocking on the door then barging in. "Pep, you gotta come quick."

Pepper looks up from her paperwork, " Why? What's going on? "

"Peter's sick. " They run back to the bathroom where they find Peter hunched over the toilet.

"Oh, Peter." Pepper rubs his back. "Are you sick?"

He shakes his head, " No, I'm.. I'm fine. you have to go to your work event. "

Pepper scoffs, " No way I'm leaving you alone this sick. Tony will stay with you. I'll go. "

Tony agrees and Pepper leaves. "Worked like a charm."

"A Parker charm." Peter grins.

"Mr. Stark? My stomach kinda hurts." It's hours later and they're in the lab.

Tony doesn't even look up from his work. " You can cut the acting kid, we were only fooling Pepper. "

"But-" Peter bites his lip. "Okay."

An hour later, Peter speaks up again. " Mr. Stark? I really don't feel good. "

"Kid, what're you trying to do? We don't need extra footage to show Pepper. She believes us."

" But Mr. Stark-"

"Kid, I said it's fine."

Peter's lip starts to quiver, the painful ache in his stomach and Mr. Starks brush off making him too emotional. Tony turns around when he hears soft crying.

"Oh my god, kid." His expression is startled. "Oh no, you actually don't feel good, do you?"

He nods. Tony groans at himself. "and I brushed you off, ugh. I'm a terrible person."

Peter gulps, " Mr. Stark? I think I'mgonnathrowu-" he cuts off as he vomits on the floor.

"Karma," Tony sighs.
