The first time

Penelope and Josie are still not in high school in this chapter is just an introduction to their lives and their families but I'll soon get to them being in high school. I'll also do a how they first saw each other.

Josie's POV

Dear diary

My mom gave me this diary to write how I feel I guess that's easy enough. Maybe I should start from the beginning my name is Josette Saltzman and I'm 10 years old. Just like my mom but I rather people call me Josie.I live with my mom her name's Josette and my dad his name is Alaric Saltzman.I also have a little sister her names Elizabeth we're only one year apart but we are so different. She likes all the attention on herself the opposite of me. Elizabeth that's her name but she likes it when people call her Lizzie.For as long as I can remember my family has always been loving but there not really the biggest fans of our neighbors to be honest I don't really see why. A long time ago they used to be friends when they were in high school. They don't really tell us what happened between them to not longer they used to be friends or to start disliking each other. To be honest it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for something or more specifically someone I want to be with but can't even talk to because of my parent's rules. Her name's Penelope Parks.

Penelope's POV

Hi oh ...... I mean dear diary

Today I bought this okay the truth is i asked my mom to buy it from me. My name is Penelope parks and I don't really know what to write in here so maybe I should tell you about my life.
I'm 10 years old and I live with my mom Hayley, my stepdad Klaus even though he's my stepdad. Because my blood dad died in a car accident when I was really little. But my mom and my biological dad we're not together anymore before I was born. But they both agreed to be in it together for me.Klaus he may not be my real dad but I love him and care about him like if we were blood even though i miss my real dad. My mom tells me about my real dad and how excited he was when the doctor told him they were having a baby girl. He loved me even before I was born. When I was in my mom's belly he would sing to me.My mom told me when I was born my mom saw him cry for the first time. My dad named me Penelope he loved that name. On my first Christmas my dad got in a car accident and he got to hold me one last time before he died that night.He was a great man who loved me and my mom even klaus. He knew mom and klaus were together and he was happy for them. I also have a younger sister okay half sister her name is Hope. She's smart, funny, silly, nice but a crybaby. She scared of everything but I love her. We're a year apart so we're really close. My family I love them they're so caring and loving but my parents don't like our neighbors. I don't know why they said something about being friends in high school but they don't like each other anymore. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for one person I can't talk to their daughter her name Josette Saltzman. As much as I want to talk to her I'm not allowed.

Penelope's and Josie's POV
(They wrote at the same thing)

I think I have a crush on her but I know I can't my mom and dad they won't understand. But I mean how long can this Crush really last. Thank you for listening to me see you again. Keep my secret please xo🙂

Hope's POV

Hope's running to Penelope's room scared. She jumps on Penelope's bed and covers herself with a blanket.

Penelope: (Penelope puts her diary down on her desk and walks to Hope) what's wrong hope. (Penelope asks in the concerned tone)

Hope: (Really scared under Penelope's blanket holding her teddy bear) There's a monster in my room. (Hope said in the scared tone)

Penelope: (confused face) Really a monster. Do you want me to go destroy your monster so it never comes back and scare my little princess again. (Penelope says in the loving tone)

Hope: (hope uncovers her face still a little scared) yes please.( hope gets out of Penelope's bed and holds her teddy bear to her chest and squeezes it tightly well holding Penelope's hand)

Penelope's POV

My little sister hope she's scared of almost everything. Yes I called Hope my little princess deal with it. I promised myself that I will always protect her from anything and everything. So we decided to go to her room and find her monster. Just to be able to make sure it doesn't hurt her.

Penelope: (concerned tone) where's your monster to make sure it doesn't ever dare to hurt you my princess.

Hope: (hope points to her desk still scared) The evil monster's over there.(she says in the quiet yet scared whisper)

Penelope's POV

Hope points in the direction of her desk. I start walking making my way to her desk notice a small dot moving.As I look down I see a small spider. Hope's terrified of spiders so I look for a piece of paper so i can get the spider out the window. I open the window letting him go. As Hope runs up to me and hugs me.

Hope: (thankful tone) thank you penny.

Penelope: you're welcome now go to sleep okay princess.(in a happy tone)

As Penelope walks to her room and hears Little Footsteps following her she turns around and sees hope following her.

Hope: can I sleep in your room tonight (she says in the sweet tone) please Penny.☺🐻

Penelope nods her head as hope and her walk back to Penelope's room and start getting ready for bed.

Josie's POV

I was getting ready for bed when I heard Lizzie come into my room as i was getting ready to sleep. When Lizzie jumped on me she was excited.

Lizzie: (excited tone) Mom said tomorrow I can help her plant flowers. My favorite flowers in the backyard isn't that great.

Josie: (in a tired tone) That's great Lizzie. But you should go to bed or you won't wake up early and help plant all the flowers. Mom will have to plant them by herself if you don't wake up early.

Lizzie: You're right Josie. Good night don't let the bedbugs bite. (Lizzie said in a excited get sleepy tone)

After Lizzie left I started falling asleep and started to dream. My dream was of the day I could talk to Penelope Parks and tell her I really liked her and kiss her.

In the meantime at Penelope's house

Penelope POV

In the mean time Penelope was dreaming of the day she could call Josette Saltzman her friend or better yet her girlfriend.

The next one it's going to be them in high school. I just wanted to make this one to give you an Insight of the relationships with their sisters and a little backstory on their family who's in their family and who's not next one on they're going to be in high school this one was just an insight.
