episode I
~ part eleven ~
a/n: i cried this part in my dream it was very traumatising but i made it less sad.

Setting : SHSS
Time : 1.31am
Xin Tian slumped to the ground and cried in joy and pain. Adity embraced Ashley as hot tears streamed down both their faces.
They were soon disrupted by the pounding on the door. The whole room quietened down, heads turned to the direction of the sound, listening intently to the hammering.

5 times then it stopped. Through the small rectangular glass on the door, they caught a glimpse of a tall blue figure moving away from the room. A sigh of relief was heard all across the room.
"Hannah! Oh my god thank god you're safe." Ashley ran to Hannah and pulled her into a tight hug.
Hannah, however, seemed a little stunned and out of it. Jolene and Elena ran up to the duo as well.
"You guys okay?"
The three of them looked up at Ashley, anguish written all over their faces. It wasn't long before Hannah broke down and fell into Ashley's arms.
It then struck Ashley.
She looked around the room and her suspicions were confirmed.
"Guys...where's Caryn?" Adity walked over, earning an agonised frown from Ashley, who was now on the floor cradling Hannah in her arms.
The poor girl tried speaking but every time she opened her mouth she'd choke up and start sobbing continuously.
"Caryn..she.." Jolene inhaled deeply, "..we were running, it was 1.28 and the thing was right behind us...she said we needed a distraction..we tried..we really tried to convince her that we could all make it but she wouldn't listen..she ran in the opposite direction and called out to the thing..the last thing we heard was her say, "eat for me" and then her scream. we got here right before you guys."
Adity fell to her knees, thinking about everyone who they had lost.
Was there anyone else? Who was safe?
She didn't realise who was in the room until she made it a point to scan it and see whoever was around.
