A few weeks after being home they were sleeping in on a Saturday. Bucky was cuddling her keeping his hand on her bump. The baby was moving around and kicked him. He smiled as he woke up.
She rolled to her back he lifted her gown. He kissed her bump "morning my little baby can't wait till we find out if you are a boy or a girl." He whispered.
Then he kissed Ellie's lips she moaned. She opened her eyes "Morning my green eyed beauty." He said
She smiled at him "I like this side of you more and more every day." She said
He kissed her "You changed me baby. When I lost you and you left. Everything suddenly didnt matter anymore it was quiet and deafening. Two months without you was the worst especially when you wouldn't answer my emails. I started to go a little crazy. Connie quit and I had to find someone to replace her. I spent many nights drunk that Judy started to hide my scotch." He said
She cupped his cheek "I love you James Buchanan and sometimes it makes me laugh how I ended up here with you." She said
He smirked " A spill that I was overly angry about. I had a bad day that day and snapped. But I'm very sure I have made up for that night." He said as they started to make out.
"Mmm I think so." She said
He chuckled "If you aren't entirely sure. Maybe this little birthday gift for my baby will change your mind."
He got up and walked over to his dresser. "Nice ass baby" she said as she laid on her side.
"Shut up." He said as held her gift behind his back.
He sat down beside her "I love you Elliana Katherine Grace Baylor. I love waking up to your green eyes tiny freckles. I never wanted marriage babies a serious relationship. But with each passing day you were changing me. When I let you go I spent weeks trying to convince myself that it was the right thing but I was wrong. I was scared and losing you I never want to experience again. So will you please marry me?" As he opened the ring box.

She gasped "Holy Cow..yes oh my god this is huge and gorgeous James." As he slid the ring on her finger.
They kissed then went to get ready for the day. She met the girls at the spa after Noah dropped her off. Bucky went riding with the boys. After spending the day apart he was happy to find her getting ready for the charity gala.
She wore a baby blue off the shoulder gown that showed off her baby bump. She had matching heels and clutch. She put her jewelry on and he lead her out of their bathroom.

They arrived at the gala and the cameras went crazy. The next morning splashed across Page Six and every other news outlet that covered the gala.
"CEO JAMES BARNES OFF THE MARKET"
They went to sit down to eat breakfast when Judy said. "All of NY is heartbroken one of the most eligible bachelors is no longer on the market. CEO James Barnes is engaged not only that but the 35 year old is also expecting his first baby with his fiancee 23 year old Elliana Baylor." As she read the article to him from Page Six.
She laid it beside him along with the others. He shook his head as Ellie came over to him. He fed her a strawberry and said "And I couldn't be happier."
They kissed then spent the Sunday lounging around.
