Chapter 9: "I Was Wrong"

-Two Months Later-

It had been two months since Elliana left. She wouldn't respond to Bucky's emails when he would try and contact her. She was now 4 months pregnant and attending UNC to finish out her degree.

Bucky was laying in his bed he kept refreshing his email. "Come on my baby please ..I need you to come back to me." He whispered.

He dragged himself out of bed. For the first two weeks after she left he stayed drunk and slept with random strangers. Trying to convince himself that he did the right thing by letting her go. But eating meals alone and sleeping alone. Her presence was still there in the back of his mind as he rode to work her place on the couch in his office was deafening.

What started out as a propostition turned into something more. He didn't even realize it till she was gone. He got to the office said good morning to his new assistant Sally. Connie who had been with him since he started quit after Ellie Kate left.

He looked up at his schedule and tossed it. He started to throw everything Sally heard him and went to get Steve. Steve went in "Buck" he said as he came in with Sam Clint and Scott.

He closed his eyes he had his back to them. "Bucky what is wrong? You had Sally scared to death." Steve said

"I made a mistake..I need to get out of here. Handle things Steve I need a couple of days" he said as he walked out.

Once he got back home he packed a bag. He called the airline and got himself a ticket to North Carolina. Cooper let him know that she was attending UNC.

He boarded his flight and left. Elliana was laying on her couch. Feeling the baby move around a little she was 17 weeks pregnant. As she was watching tv she heard a knock.

She looked through her peephole. She shook her head and opened the door. He kissed her as he walked in and dropped his bag. He looked at her "I was wrong I miss you I love you. Please forgive me Elliana I was an a selfish idiot that was to scared to see what I had." He said

She looked up at him she took his hand. She lifted her shirt and put his hand on her tiny bump. "Oh wow..you are already starting to show." He said

"Im 17 weeks pregnant. I have one week left of college. I love you James but no more rules no more punishments." She said

"Okay." He said

She kissed him as she dragged him to her bedroom. They had three rounds of make up sex. He stayed with her in North Carolina till she graduated college.

When they got back they went out to Brooklyn. Bucky and her announced to his parents that they were expecting. Winnie cried tears of joy as she saw her bump and ultrasounds.
