Chapter 2: Best Big Brother

Harry knocked on my door about an hour later.

"Alaina?" he called out.

"Yeah?"

"I was planning on taking you out for dinner, so if you could get ready, we'll leave for Nando's soon." he says through the door. I respond with a loud okay and search for fresh clothes to wear. I love my new closet because it's a frickin walk in! Like whoa! I make my way downstairs to Harry. We get in his car and drive to Nando's. We order and it's a little awkward waiting.

"So Alaina, how have you been?"

"I've been doing well actually."

"Really? That's good. So what have you been like up to?"

"Well, I do competitive dance and cheer, singing competitions, camping, hang wiht my friends, the usual."

"Such a compettive girl. Good. You always have been." he says, chuckling.

"I think you'll get along with the boys just fine." he says after a long pause.

"I'll be okay, don't worry about me."

"I won't." Our food is coming and we dig in right away. Harry eyes me and I look up confused. He watched me for about a minute more.

"Oh yes. You'll fit in just fine." I feel confused. My phone buzzes and saves me. I read the text.

Ugh! It's so gross to think about! My best friend wanting my brother. And she doesn't know it's my brother! I've read all theses things that girls, "directioners", write online. And it can be really gross. With my brother. And his friends. And Haley is in on it!  Well, people will be people. I text back- sure thang Hal! I'm eating right now but later i promise!

She responds with a smiley face. We finish the food and start heading home. Harry keeps asking questions. But he hasn't seen me in like 2 years so I can't blame him.

"So how about Kermit and Princess?"

"Um..yeah. I miss them a lot." Princess was my Chihuahua and Kermit was my Italian Greyhound.

"Well, I talked to mum and she sent Princess over."

"Oh my god! Really?! Thank you so much!" Technically, Princess was MY  dog and Kermit was the family dog.

This was the best day ever. And tomorrow, you were living millions of girl's dreams. To meet One Direction <3
