Transformers Fanfic - Optimus x SwitchBlaze OC

Risking it! No matter what the cost. Part 1

It has been 3 hours that they gathered a lot of energon. Achlys was able to create a few large crates for them to place inside. They very much made progress without any interruption. However SwitchBlaze couldn't help but feel a bit unease about this as she has when they came to look. She sliced through three more as she caught them and placing them down next to her. Frowning slightly as she looked at her sword in wonder and concern. Her thoughts turned to the Decepticons wondering if they were still after them. Her mind thought a bit of how they could hurt the Autobots to just get them and protect the mine. She was the most worried about Optimus getting hurt by Megatron or any decepticons. She wouldn't bare with it if anything happened to him. Her optics widen at that thought, not about the getting hurt part but how much she was worried and care for him. She placed her servo over her chest feeling a flutter of worry in her spark.

Is this what her sire felt when he met their carrier?

If so will this so called right time be really soon?

What will happen when it does get here?

Primus, why was her mind filled with so many questions!

Optimus finished cutting one as he placed it down. He caught sight of SwitchBlaze looking at her sword but the look she was giving he did not like. He picked up the energon crystal he had cut and placed it in one of the crates before he moved over to Blaze. She stared for a moment longer before quickly shook her helm as she was about to slice through another however a servo stopped her motion. She looked up to see that it was Optimus as he stared in concern.

"Are you alright SwitchBlaze?" He asked still holding on her sword as she stared. She sighed before shrugging his servo off as she did a quick clean cut again. She stared at the crystal for a moment as it landed on the ground not bothered to catch it before she answered him.

"Not really Prime, I feel a bit unease about what is going to happen while we're here. Something that I have a bad feeling about. I also.....don't want anything bad to happen to any of you if we are to engage in battle. That's what really concerns me." She told him looking down, her sword was also lowered the tip touching the ground. Optimus stared somehow understanding what she was telling him. Her words in secret were telling him that she didn't want anything bad to happen to him. A bit of a surprise that she said this but also she was beginning to feel something for him. Which also says that she doesn't want him to get hurt by the decepticons if they are to come. He also didn't want anything to happen to SwitchBlaze either if it would come to that. He placed his servo on the side of her face making her look at him which she did. He really saw that she was concerned and unease in her sapphire optics. Wishing he could do something to make it easier for her. But he could only smile at her as he lean his forehead against hers making her blush a bit at the affectionate gesture.

"I know that I can't say that it won't happen. What I do know is that I will make sure that you and Achlys are protected. I will do everything in my power to make sure they don't take you both. I also know that you will do it as well, just remember that I am here for you. Bumblebee is here for Achlys. We will make sure that you are protected. Remember that." He told her cherishing her cheek in a care way as it caused her to smile more as she lean in his touch as she brought her servo up to hold his as she looked a bit down to cherish this moment. She just...loves how his felt against hers making her feel warm and loved. This was REALLY something she deeply wants from Optimus but she has to wait till they finished here. She has a feeling when they do she will tell him of her decision. She couldn't wait for that right moment to happen.
