Becoming official Autobots!

A week later...

SwitchBlaze was in the rec room staring out the window. Sitting on the couch which was enormous and right for them. She had just returned from a recon mission with Arcee as they had to see anything out of the ordinary. However she was thoughtful to what Arcee had asked her which upset her a bit as the thought was still there. Lingering in her processor and Achlys would probably be upset as well if she was asked this question.

Flashback of the talk

"So SwitchBlaze when do you think you and Achlys are going to get your insignias and become official Autobots?" Arcee suddenly asked out of the blue making Blaze stop and stared in surprised that she asked such a question as she stopped to listen.

"What do you mean? I thought we were already." She asked before saying that she thought that she and Achlys were already after what they have done for them and how they were protected. However Arcee shook her helm and stared at the sapphire and violet femme.

"Well you have been helping out and been protective but you both don't have any insignias on you not even the decepticons insignia. So I figured that you two still need to do a few things or need to tell Optimus about it. But I'm sure that you'll get it sooner or later you just need to ask or tell him." She told her before she walked on.

What she didn't realized to what she suddenly said got her thinking, doubting a bit if they were Autobots with the rest. She lifted her servo and placed her digits on a small spot on her chest where she would have an insignia but there was none. Suddenly it made her sad actually that they didn't have one she knew that Achy would want to place it on shoulder. But still...

End of flashback

Blaze stared where her digits tracing the spot where she had touched an joor ago when she was on her mission with Arcee. But since then she wanted to be alone and share quarters with Optimus. She didn't want to see him right now. She decided to be in the rec room for the rest of the cycle. Luckily no one came looking for her yet not even her sister. Not feeling in the mood in doing anything. She sighed sadly and leaned on the couch in her arms. Feeling really glum about the question Arcee asked and told her. Which got her down as she teared up almost. She was so busy in her own little world that she didn't hear Optimus actually coming inside probably looking for her. When he finally saw her he couldn't help but smile.

"Ah there you are SwitchBlaze! I had been looking all over for you since your return from your mission. I had been worried when you-" He went to say but stopped when he saw how slumped and down she was, she looked pretty sad actually as she didn't look up at him once. It worried him now he moved over to her as she still hadn't moved.

"Blaze? Are you alright?" He asked as he sat behind her and placed a servo on his shoulder. But she didn't response right away like he wanted. Plus it look like she was still in thought about something wondering what has her thinking. There was an intense silence between them. As she did not say anything making him worry that there was something wrong. He didn't like this as he was about to ask her what was wrong when she beat him to it.

"Optimus? Are Achlys and I...Autobots?" She asked looking slightly at her mate wanting to know from him since he was the leader and Arcee did tell her to ask him if they were. She hoped that they were after being for 5 groons and a breem here in the base. Optimus optics widen in shock and surprised to what she was asking him. Why was she doubting this?

"Why are you asking this love? Has something happened on the mission with Arcee?" He asked moving a bit closer. Wanting to know what made her doubt in being an Autobot. Blaze sighed in sadness as she looked at the window.
