Transformers Fanfic - Optimus x SwitchBlaze OC

Bonding Ceremony!

The news of Optimus and SwitchBlaze going to bond quickly spread like wild fire and the Autobots were pretty excited yet thrilled to hear about it. Mostly Ratchet and Ironhide that the two were going to become bondmates. They couldn't believe after so long that the two were going to become bondmates soon. Of course Ironhide lost the bet and had to pay First Aid. The three long friends heard about SwitchBlaze accepting of becoming Optimus's bondmate. Airmed and Shysie had hugged her and nearly squealed at this news. Ravencaine shook her servo saging his congrats. It went on for a few cycles of everybot gossiping of the good thing.

The humans however were a little confused about it as they didn't know what it meant. Lennox had heard about it and decided to find out by the two who were going to. 

So in the late morning, Lennox had heard by Ultra Magnus that they were in their shared quarters talking about the ceremony. The colonel with a sigh went just there. He had to knock first which SwitchBlaze opened for him before she smiled. 

"Greeting colonel! Good to see you on this fine morning." Blaze greeted as he came in.

"Yeah and you seemed quite cheerful then usual." Lennox said as he climbed in her servo so that she could place him on the table.

"I am actually, I don't know if you heard by now about me and Optimus?" She spoke as she sat down on the couch after she placed Lennox down. Cherishing her necklace with a smile.

"Yeah I have...that is a very pretty necklace you have on." He told her which made her smile.

"Thank you Optimus gave me when he had asked me to bond with him." SwitchBlaze told him as she still cherish the crystal.

"That's what I actually came to asks you and Optimus about." Lennox told her.

Which made her tilt her helm slightly that he didn't know.

"Blaze who is it you're talking to?" They heard Optimus from the berthroom making them turn.

"It's Lennox, Orion and he wants to ask about the bonding." SwitchBlaze told her mate who had decided to take the morning off and would be working in the afternoon again.

Lennox was pretty surprised at what SwitchBlaze had just called Optimus but figuring it was probably a nickname or something. He wouldn't asked unless he wanted to know. The red and blue mech came out to see for himself and smiled at the military human. 

"Greeting colonel, happy to see you as always." Optimus said as he came over to sit down.

"Good to see you as well Optimus. I was hoping you could explain to me something as a few of my soldiers have asked which I couldn't really answer." William told him.

Optimus had listened and sat down next to Blaze placing his arm around her shoulders. As he turned to the human ally.

"What do you wish to know?" He asked as Blaze snuggled to him a bit but still held an upright posture.

"Could you tell me what it means to be bonded or bonding? Many Autobots around the base had been gossiping and excitedly talking about it. As if it's been the latest thing." William told them.

The couple stared at the human for a moment before each other. Knowing that they should explain it at a point. So telling Lennox wouldn't be too hard. SwitchBlaze decided to speak first as she sat up so she could speak.

"Well I think the simple way I can put it, William. It's almost like how you humans would call it marriage. Optimus had proposed to me in taking my servo in marriage. That's why everybot has been excited about." SwitchBlaze explained she wasn't bothered by using human frases like Ratchet was. Since most of them didn't understand their terms most of the time.
