The next day it's finally the presentation day of our play, which will take place this afternoon. Although I'm a little nervous at the idea of doing something wrong. I quickly get rid of that idea, everything will turn out very well, I have to be positive.

On the way to school a red car stops next to me, I stop walking and the car window goes down. I think I know who it is and I'm not mistaken, it's Chris.

—Hey Sarah, come in, I'll take you to school—he offers kindly as he takes off his dark sunglasses.

—No thanks, I can walk— I say playing the difficult girl role

—Come on, I can take you—He exclaims trying to convince me

I think that in this situation you can't refuse and the only thing you can do is accept and of course for me it's not so difficult to accept, I just wanted some resistance to be seen from my part but I think I will not succeed.

—Okay—I say not knowing what else to add and I get into the car as soon as I close the door he immediately drives.

—And tell me, are you ready for this afternoon?—He finally asks.

—Yeah and you?—I ask doubtful

—Yes I am…but you don't sound very convinced at all—Chris says, noticing the tone of my voice.

—I'm not sure if I'll do it well— I say a little nervous

—Believe in yourself, you will do awesome—says at the same time he takes one hand off the wheel and holds mine tightly. I don't know how to describe how this feels but I can assure that it was the best and weird thing I have felt, like electricity inside you.

For a few moments we stayed like that until we arrived at school. It's ironic but we both took out our hands at the same time, I don't know what all this was but I won't say anything...at least not now.

—Well...we finally arrive—hesitates for a few seconds

—Thanks for bringing me—I say as I get out of the car

—No problem...—I notice that he wants to tell me something but in the end he doesn't say anything.

—Do you want to tell me something?—I hesitate for a bit—, I have that feeling that you want to...or am I wrong?

—N...no...—he says nervously—. It's a surprise, okay?—He says winking at me. I guess this surprise will come soon but the worst thing is that I want to know what it is about. I like surprises but always want to know what it is about.

—Okay, see you… bye Chris—I say without giving much importance to the topic although inside of me I am dying of emotion.

While walking to enter my class I checked the time on my phone to check if I was late but suddenly I collided with someone and was the person I least wanted to see on this day or later.
