In the afternoon I'm ready for Chris to come for me, I wonder where he will take me. I cannot avoid this excitement.

I decided to wear a cream blouse and navy blue jeans.  I finish putting on my makeup when I get a call.

—Hello?—I pick up the call

—Hi Sarah, I'm outside your house, are you ready?—Chris says

—Give me a few minutes—I answer by taking some things and putting some others in their place.

—Okay, I'll wait for you—he says sweetly. I hang up and go downstairs.

When I go out he's leaning out of his car, I approach and without being able to say something he kisses me.

—Come on, I have a surprise for you I hope you like it— smiles widely

During the trip we are talking more about the things we like to do and other things. What I like the most about him is that I always enjoy our moments together.

Chris turns on the radio and the song "First Time-Kygo, Ellie Goulding" plays.

—Where are we?—I ask when the car stops.

—At "Pier 4 beach" in Brooklyn, come on!—says as he gets out of the car, opening the door for me on the other side—. This is where the surprise begins so I have to blindfold your eyes—I nod and laugh nervously while he blindfold me—. Walk, I'll guide you— I just hope I don't fall, I don't want to make a fool of myself right now.

After walking a few more steps, he tells me to stop.

—Open your eyes at 3...2...1—he uncovers my eyes and points to something written in the sand that says "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Oh my God!  I can't believe it! I automatically cover my mouth with my hands surprised and I giggle.

Really I can't believe this, I avoid getting emotional right now and then regain my composure.

—Yes... I want to—when I say that he carries me in his arms and we kiss passionately.

Without doubt this is the best surprise someone has given me.

After that, we walked for a while on the sand holding hands.

Later we decided to go to the cinema, we ate popcorn, ice cream and I don't remember what else, I paid more attention to the moments with Chris than everything else doesn't matter.

—Will you be free tomorrow?—Chris asks once we arrived at my house before getting out of the car.

—I will only have tennis and volleyball classes, why?—I questioned kindly

—Will you have time to come to my house for dinner?

—Sure—I smile—. So see you tomorrow Chris

—See you—he says that when he finishes kissing me and then I get into my house.

When I'm in my room my phone rings, it's Zoey.

—Hello?—I answer

—Hi Sarah, are you feeling better?—Asks my best friend referring to what happened yesterday

—Yes better, thanks—For a moment I forgot what she meant by that question.

—I hear you very well—she laughs from the other side of the phone—. Tell me what happened?

—Nothing happened—I am unable to hide my happiness.

—I don't believe you, tell me!—she complain

—Calm down! I'll tell you everything later, the only thing I can tell you is that….

—What?—she interrupts me as usual.

—Let me speak!—I exclaim annoyed

—So, then…?—my best friend interrupt me again and I can't avoid to laugh

—Shut up now. The only thing I can tell you is that ... —I make a pause generating suspense—, I'm already Chris's girlfriend—I say without being able to believe what has happened.

—I knew you would say yes!—says with great emotion

—Wait, did you know that already?—I question confused

—Well he told me, he was planning a surprise and told me all about it. I certainly told him that you would love it, I'm glad you accepted—she says happily for me.

—Although I will tell you all the details later, now I just want to rest— I sigh with relief

—Okay, see you on Monday— we said goodbye and then I went to bed to watch series on Netflix.

I'm not so tired at all, I don't even want to sleep with this happiness that I have.
