Ben's Proclamation

Mal Narrating:

Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago... Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. So instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks... basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood. No magic. No wi-fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hang on, you're about to meet us. But first, this happened.

"Sleeve. Head. Ah ah," The Tailor said to Ben

"Ben, how do you think mom and dad are going to react to your first proclamation?" Skylar asked Ben as she sat down on a chair facing towards him.

"I don't know but I'm about to find out," Ben said as he looked over to their parents.

"How is it possible that you two going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" Their dad said.

"He's turning 16 dear," Belle said.

"Hey pops," Ben said.

"Hi dad," Skylar said.

"16? That's way too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good a good decision until I was 42," King Adam said. Belle looked at him in shock.

"Uh you decided to marry me at 28," Belle said.

"It was either you or a teapot," King Adam said. Ben and Skylar chuckled. "Kidding."

"Mom," Skylar said as she got up from her seat and stood next to Ben.

"Dad," Ben said as he tried to walk down from the step.

"Ah!" The Tailor said. Ben looked at Skylar and she nodded.

"I've decided my first proclamation as King," Ben

"That the children of the isle of the lost. Will be given a chance. To live here in...".

"Auradon," Skylar finished for him. Belle and Beast looked shocked as Belle dropped Skylar's family day dress. 

"The children of our sworn enemies living among us?" King Adam questioned them.

"We will start with a few then gradually will invite more over," Ben said. "Also I've already decided who should come,"

"Have you?" King Adam questioned.

"I gave you a second chance. Who are their parents?" Belle said. Skylar looked at Ben with a worried look.

"Cruella De Vil, Jafar," Ben started.

"Evil Queen, and... Maleficent," Skylar said. Everyone gasped in shock.

"Maleficent!!" King Adam yelled. Skylar held onto Ben's arm. "She is the worst villain in the land!"

"Dad just hear us out," Ben said in a calm voice.

"I won't hear it. They're guilty of unspeakable crimes!" King Adam yelled again.

"Dad," Skylar said softly. "They're children are innocent."

"Don't you think they deserve a normal life? Dad." Ben asked. Belle looked at King Adam.

"I suppose the children are innocent," King Adam said.

"Well done. Shall we?" Belle said as she gave Skylar a hug quickly then she left.

"Nice work sis," Ben said as he hugged Skylar. Skylar gave Ben a small smile then they pulled away while looking at the island.
