Sara's (P.O.V)

"We need a plan, and a solid one too or else we are all either dead or worse." I said emphasizing the latter option.  The team nodded silently, hoping that I would have the next step to solving this problem. I thought back, there wasn't much that I remembered aside from the pain but I could picture my way around the chambers with ease. In my year there I frequented them all.    "Gideon, display a map of their compound." I commanded with ease. "Of course Captain Lance." Was the immediate reply. A shiver ran down my spine as I saw the complex and Ava placed a comforting hand on the small of my back. I closed my eyes to regain composure and continued with the run down.

"I don't know much about the island itself or the outer buildings, they were for members only. The main building is where the prisoners are kept and where the leader of the group and all the highest members reside. It's where Nyssa attacked first, it's where I'll be and it's somewhere I still know like the back of my hand," I paused and took a short breath naming rooms as I pointed to them, " holding cells, water, fire, leather, electricity, chemicals, blades, fists, medieval, and intimacy. As well as living quarters for the top members of the group" I finished and looked up to see my team wide eyed and panic stricken.

I could feel Ava's eyes on me but I could not bring myself to return the gaze, Amaya was the first to break out of the stupor. "How did Nyssa attack the first time and how did the time pirates change it?" She asked poignantly and Gideon responded. "The original attack was led at night time so as to surprise the group and five stealth teams took out the outer buildings individually before converging on the main building and killing all members of the group. Many of the prisoners were released but most died due to the injuries sustained on the island. It would appear that the time pirates have equipped the brotherhood with advanced firearms as well as torture devices, thus making the League's attack futile and resulting in the death of all members who attacked and later the entire League."

"Thank you Gideon, but do you know what happens to Sara in this timeline?" Ava inquires. "Unfortunately if this timeline were to solidify Captain Lance would have lost her mind to the futuristic torture devices three years after arriving on the island and submit to become one of their most feared torturers and right hand to their founder. You would later be painfully executed for displaying feelings towards one of your female servants." She responds. I guess its kind of ironic that even when I'm a murderous psychopath people still want me dead for liking women.

"Okay people, here's the plan. We infiltrate the main building at nightfall and remove the new torture devices. When Gideon lets us know that Nyssa and her team are on the way we take the armory so they can't use the new weapons against her. The chambers aren't used after dark so it'll be relatively safe to complete the first part of the mission. The second part is another story." I declared confidently.

"What about you?" Mick interjects. "Where will you be?"

"Leading you through the building." I reply.

"Not you you, the other you." He grunts.

"That is of no concern, none of us can interact with young me." I state firmly, not wanting to reveal the truth to why I don't want them to know where I am. "It's settled then, Ray you do recon and Ava, Amaya and I will retrieve the torture devices." Mick raised his eyebrows in discontent. "Sorry Mick but part one needs to be covert." The group headed down to the fabricator to put on appropriate disguises, I could see Ava hiding knives in her clothes, ive maybe six. Impressive, though I had upwards of ten on me, Amaya had no need with her Totem.

The jump ship landed several miles from the compound so it didn't draw any unwanted attention and we continued silently on foot. Abut Halfway there Ava slowed and dragged me with her. Amaya understood this gesture and picked up the pace so she was out of earshot. "Sara you dont have to do this, nobody will think any less of you if you don't want to go in there."

"Nobody else knows the building like I do, what tech is new and what has been used. I appreciate that you want to keep me safe but it's time I faced some of my demons." I spoke quietly. We caught up to Amaya and crouched down at the edge of the compound.

"Ready?"
