Everleigh's pov

BEEP BEEP BEEP, my alarm for the pack meeting wakes me up. ughhhhh! "Wake up Everleigh" my mother yelled from downstairs. I get up, walk over to my closet, I pulled out a pair of light ripped jeans and a maroon off the shoulder shirt. I jump into the shower and washed my medium length blonde hair, washed my body and washed my face. I get out dry off and get dressed. I brushed my teeth and headed down stairs where I see my mom cooking breakfast, bacon, eggs, and pancakes, I grabbed a plate and filled it up with food. I ate my food quickly and ran to the meeting spot. I found my seat at the leaders table next to my mom and dad. "Hello Moon Stone pack, we have an important announcement to make" My dad said. The pack went silent, " We have started a war against the Dark Moon pack" My dad continued. The pack broke out in "Why's and sighs." "We have trained many years for this war, we are well prepared to take this war on" My dad said. "We are going to war tomorrow over the east pack border" My mom said. The meeting was adjourned, the pack started walking back to the house, when my dad told me that I wasn't allowed to fight. I begged to be in the fight and my mom convinced my dad to let me fight.

~The next day ~

I got up early around 7 am, walked out to the east border and shifted in to my tan and white wolf. We waited for the other pack to walk up. When they walked up I smelled a very strong hint of mint and wood. "Mate" my wolf said in my mind. I walked to the smell. It was the Alpha of the pack. My dad mind linked me and told me to get back. I said no and closed the link. I shifted back to human form and waited for the Alpha to say something.
