~Ethan's Pov~
I couldn't believe that we really had to go to war with the Moon Stone pack again over the boarders. My pack was furious with me because they knew that we had no time to prepare. I was ripped from my thoughts when my beta Luke walked in to my room telling me to get up and shower. "Okay" I said. I walked over to my closet and took out a pair of jeans, a dark blue v-neck shirt, and my black Nike shoes. I jumped into the shower washing my hair and body. I got dryed off and dressed. When I walked downstairs, I seen my beta and gamma looking at me upset and worried. "Boys we better get our warriors and head to the west pack boarder" I said in a tense tone. They immediately walked out the door leaving me to my thoughts again. My wolf started stirring in my head.
"What if we meet mate today?"
"Then we will undeclar war against her pack."
"Are you going to accept her?"
"I will get to know her and maybe I'll accept her. You know how I feel about meeting my mate, I want her to be able to help me bring success to the pack. I am also worried that she will distract me from keeping the pack strong."
My mom walked through the front door, "Why aren't you at the boarder yet?" My mom said.
"Sorry mom I was just about to leave, I want you and dad to stay here so nothing happens to you" I said.
"But Ethan your father wants to help!"
"No, mom I can't lose dad along with other pack members. No and that's an order from your alpha" I said
~At the boarder~
I couldn't get rid of the strong smell of rose and vanilla. That's when a beautiful tan and white wolf walked over to me. The wolf shifted back to human form revealing a blonde haired female. She stared at me waiting for me to say something. I had no words to say! "Hello my name is Everleigh Rose, alpha. You must be my mate!" She said excitedly. "Hello Everleigh, my name is Alpha Ethan James. It's a pleasure to meet you, I am undeclaring war against your pack, beautiful!" I replied. She turned to who I assumed was her father and told her that they were no longer in war. Everyone cheered relived they didn't have to fight. "Would you like to go out and grab lunch Everleigh?" I asked. "Why yes I would love too!" Everleigh said with a smile.
~Sorry that it's a short chapter again, I'm still trying to figure exactly how I want to write this story!~
