Annie's P.O.V.

"Wait, so how does he know your name?" Jack asked.

"He probably just looked Annie up in the yearbook?" Anna suggested and I shrugged.

"He's a fucking creep." Luke said getting all protective. "It's like a Hayden 2.0."

"Whoa, I don't think he's getting that creepy." Lilia said putting her hands up.

"Isn't it creepy how Annie kissed this guy four times already?" Syd asked trying to play devil's advocate.

"Yeah, but it's fun. Our girls got no shame and oozing with confidence." Jack said putting his arm around me.

"Ooze a little of that self confidence on me would you?" Anna asked and then correct herself. "Wait, never mind. That sounds a little sexual." And we laughed.

"Uh-oh." Luke said dropping his mouth open.

"What?" I asked looking at him.

"Jayden Bartels 12 o'clock." Lilia said looking at her behind me.

"What really?" Jack asked smiling. He has had a crush on Jayden since middle school and I can tell why.

She pretty, popular but not bitchy, and always had something nice to say to everyone. The only flaw of her is that her best friend is Asher Angel...

Poor girl.

"Uhh, hey guys. It's Julianna right?" She asked looking at me.

"Yeah, you can't call me Annie though." And she nodded.

"Cool, I just wanted to say that it's really hilarious what your doing to Asher. It's got him totally flipping out." Jayden said smiling. Okay I already love this girl.

"Okay." I said not knowing where this was going.

"Wow, I though you are gonna be pissed." Sydney said in relief. "I'm Sydney by the way."

"Jayden, why would I be pissed?" She asked looking at Syd.

"Lilia." Lilia introduced, "Don't you and Asher have a thing that's not a thing, that's totally a thing?" She questioned.

"Ha, no way. Jock isn't really my type." And gave a quick glance at Jack with a smile. "But, is it yours?" She asked looking back at me with a smile.

"No, apparently my type is crazy stalker guys." I said rolling my eyes and I receiving a confused look from her. "My ex keeps show up here. Noel's even trying to talk to me just watching."

"And thats why you keep kissing Asher?" She asked nodding. "I'm sorry." She said sincerely.

"No, it's fine." I said shrugging trying to play it off cool.

"I really like your shoes." She said changing the subject a little.

"Thanks. I got the stuff from a flea market. We're actually going there today after school if you wanna tag along?" I offered and she nodded.

"Yeah, I'll meet you guys later." She said and walked away.

"That was amazing." Jack said stumbling back making me grab his arm.

"Bro chill." Syd said rolling her eyes. "You didn't even talk to her."

"Did you not see that look Jayden gave me?" Jack asked raising his eyebrows.

"She didn't give you a look." Luke said pushing him.

"Yes she did, she said jock is not her type. And I'm the opposite of a jock." Jack said jumping up and down.

"Clearly." Anna said gigging making Jack pout and cross his arms.

"I can't believe you were so casually talking to the most popular girl in school." Luke said looking at me.

"Why? She's just a person." I said shrugging and started walking down the hall.

"Again with the confidence." Lilia said smiling.

"Yup, so meet up outside after school?" Syd verified.

"Yeah, good luck in P.E. ladies." Jack said smiling at me and Syd.

"Yeah, not gonna happen. P.E. is seriously the worst class ever." I said annoyed.

"Yeah, but you did have a little fun yesterday right." She asked wigging her eyebrows.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said and changed into my P.E. clothes.

"Yeah, yeah. You might have the confidence but you're a terrible liar." Syd said rolling her eyes.

We walked out to the track and I got Sydney to slow down a little and run along with me and we ran around about 6 times and Syd was about to pass out.

"Uh, excuse me Julianna." Someone called after us and we turned around to see Asher Angel running behind us. "Can't I talk to you?" He asked and I nodded and stopped running.

He then turned his head towards Syd and said, "Alone?" Making her roll her eyes.

"Ugh, if you need me, I will be in the nurses office, coughing up blood, and googling Shawn Mendes shirtless." Syd said still out of breath walking backwards looking at me and I gave her a thumbs up.

"Okay, I'm done trying to be nice—" he started to say but I cut him off.

"Whoa, you were trying to be nice? I don't think you know the definition of the word." I said rolling my eyes still breathing kinda heavily.

"Okay, you just need to leave me alone." Asher said sternly looking in my eyes.

"I'm sorry?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him.

"You can't just keep kissing me..." He began to say and I cut him off.

"Like I said before, Pretty Boy, I don't like you. The kiss didn't mean anything. Okay, you think you can get that through your thick head?" I asked.

"Well, your trying to be friends with my friends now?" He said.

"Are you talking about Jayden? She's a nice person, and she came over to me so you gotta chill bro." I said rolling my eyes.

"But your such an annoying loser why would Jayden wanna hang out with you?" Asher asked.

"Maybe to find out what it's like to be friends with a nice person. Now why do you think that is?" I asked taking a step closer to him.

"Whoa, easy there dork, keep your distance." He said taking a step back and putting his hands up.

"Oh, you don't like when I'm close to you?" I asked taking another step closer to him.

"No, I don't like you at all." He said crossing his arms.

"Well, that's a real shame." I said and I was inches away from him and I stood up on my tip toes. "Because I think your a real peach." I said and then I grabbed his face and kissed him again.

Why do I find this so fucking entertaining?

He pushed me back and yelled, "Stop doing that!"

I went over to him and gave him a quick peck, "Dude!" He yelled wiping his mouth.

"I'll see you later P.B." I said smiling and hit his cheek twice and walked away proudly.

I like this side of Annie, don't you? Like she's all edgy and her and Jayden are becoming friends which is great too. Have a great day.
