Annie's P.O.V.

"How was your date?" Hayley asked as I walking through the front door.

"Um, one it was not a date. And two, absolutely excruciating." I said sighing and flopped down on the couch.

"What do you mean?" She questioned as she sat down and I put my head on her lap she could play with my hair as she usually does when we have these little talks.

Hayley is basically my mini shrink and I tell her just about everything. So she knows all about Hayden and the girls I get into fights with but Asher never really came up.

"Well, for starters it wasn't a real date for me and the guy we were just there so Jack doesn't screw things up with Jayden. But then Hayden showed up and I had to kiss Asher so that Hayden would finally leave me alone." I said with my eyes closed as Hayley ran her fingers through my hair which was really relaxing.

"Wait, the same Asher who's been tutoring you and who you kissed a number of times?" She asked causing me to open my eyes and look at her confused.

"What? How do you know that?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"How do you think?" She asked and I rolled my eyes annoyed.

"Sydney and Lilia." I said and she nodded. "Great." I muttered.

"Annie?" Hayley asked and I looked back up at her, "Can you sleep with me tonight?" She asked nervously probably think she'd be too old for it.

"Of course HayHay." I said and she smiled happily and we basically stayed up all night talking about the most random things we could think of.

When I got to school I was still so very tired and I just rested my head in the lockers with my eyes closed. I was there for what felt like only a second but probably around five minutes.

"So I take it your date went well that?" Carson asked and when I opened my eyes I saw that her was smirking and I don't even wanna know what was running through his minds.

"Ha ha, I stayed up all night talking with my little sister." I said making sure he knows what that and not what ever he was thinking.

"Well, that seems fun?" He said and it sounded like a question but I just nodded.

"Wanna give me a ride to class?" I asked smiling and he just chuckled.

"Sure." He said and I smiled. Carson turned around and crouched down a little and I hopped onto his back. "Where to?"

"Room 308." I said pointing into that air and I could tell that he rolled his eyes at me but with a smile.

And now it's lunch and so far it's pretty fun because Asher is talking to me and also he was to my left and Carson on my right with Syd next to him and Luke. And the rest of them were in front of us but it was a circular table so yeah, you get the basic idea.

And our knees occasionally touched since my revelation that I like have a crush on him my heart exploded every we touched, every time my name left his lips, every time he looked at me.

And let me tell you that it is exhausting because I still have to pretend that I don't like him even as a friend and have to find things to make fun of him per se.

He also seemed the go a little easier on me too which I liked but I know that it was probably because of my sob story and not because he likes me the way I like him.

And now we are all laughing a some stupid joke that Jack made.

Asher has the best laugh.

Okay Annie just stop doing that. Don't be creepy.

But he smells so good.

Creepy! Annie, bad.

"Annie." Syd said and I looked over at her and she was just staring straight ahead and I followed her gaze to she... Hayden.

Of course.

I looked between Asher and Carson and I remember what Ash said yesterday if I kissed him again.

I turned to Carson and grabbed his face and pressed my lips against his. I could tell that he's shocked and not gonna lie it was pretty weird, no offense to Carson at all but I liked kissing Asher better.

There I said it. Come at me if you must.

"And you're good." I heard Sydney said and I released Carson.

"Thanks." I said to him.

"Uhh, yeah. No problem." He said still shocked and then the bell rang thankfully and I got up and pretty much ran to my locker.

I grabbed my books and I looked to see Carson making his way towards me.

"Hey, so what was that back there?" He asked confused.

"Oh you know, just the same thing that happened last night. Asher told you." I said assuming he knew.

"Uh, Asher didn't tell me anything." Carson she shrugging.

"Seriously?" I asked with a small smile and he nodded. "Oh, well my ex keeps coming around and does seem to understand that I hate his guts." I said shifting my books from one arm to another.

"Oh okay." He said nodding and I smiled and walked past them.

I survived school pretty much and now it's P.E. and then I have practice and work and then I could die at home if I don't pass out on the track.

I was walking down the hill to the track when I heard, "Annie, hey Annie." And I turned to see Asher running down the hill to catch up with me.

"Hey P.B. What's up?" I said as he caught up with me.

"What's up? Uhh, what happened at lunch today?" He asked glaring down at me.

"Uhh, I did want you to punch me in the nose like you threatened last night." I said in a duh tone.

"Oh yeah, about that..." he said and I looked at him confused. "I take it all back." He said.

"I don't follow." I said confused.

"Last night, I was kinda being a dick saying that you should have to do what you think you need to, to get away from that guy. So the next time you see him I will play along." He said and I nodded frowning my eyebrows.

"Uh-huh and why the sudden change of heart?" I asked looking up at him. "Finally realized you're in love with me?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Ha, in your dreams LeBlanc. It's just that Carson has a thing for Sydney and I wouldn't want things to get messed up for him." Asher said and I smiled.

"Wow, so you actually do have a heart and care for other people. Not gonna lie, I'm surprised." I said giggling and he just rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, but it doesn't come out when I'm around people who are annoying." He stated.

"So I take it you never get to experience it either. So sad." I said and I just ran ahead with Syd and she just smirked. "Shut up." I said

"Hey, I didn't say anything." She said putting her hands up.

"Then just save it for the next time you wanna say something." I said and she laughed.

Two things, none about the book. First go give leblangeltingz a follow and check out her book, Hidden, it's really good even though there's only one chapter now. I can see the potential in it.

And two, does anyone know or is a jaw doctor because my jaw keeps locking and popping and it's really irritating me and low key kinda painful. It's a me problem, I get that, but if anyone care about some random girl then looking into jaw care for me, thanks.
