You've had enough! Project after project, all-nighter after all-nighter, you were at your wits end. You slam your laptop shut and push it away, wanting to abandon it all. Frustrated, you put your head down on the table as the tears soaked through the sleeve of your oversized sweater. Across the table, Yunho looks up from his phone and stares at you with genuine concern.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He reaches across the table and rests his hand on your shoulder.

"I can't anymore," Your voice muffled by your arms and sobs.

"Can't what? Babe talk to me," the tone of his voice came out softer than his usual mischievous tone helping you calm down. You take a deep breath and wipe your tears away.

"My project, I can't finish it." You massage your temples to fight the oncoming headache. "I can't stay up and pull another all-nighter to finish it. I am physically and mentally drained."

He gives you an apologetic smile as he takes your hand in his. Yunho was exceptional in dancing and performing, but in academics, there was no way he could help you. Silence filled the air as the clock struck two in the morning.

"Then don't finish it," he says in a casual tone shrugging his shoulders. "It doesn't matter anyways, right?"

Your eyes widen at his remark. He knew how hard you've had to study just to get into this class. He knew all the things you've had to give up so that you could get a decent grade in the class. He knew that your whole career probably depended on you passing this class, and that this project was the last thing that could either make or break it all for you.

You sigh in disbelief as he gives you his signature goofy smile. You shake your head to bring yourself back to reality and pull the laptop back to you.

"Doesn't matter, my butt," you mumble mainly to yourself as you open the laptop and log back into your document.

Yunho laughs to himself as you buried yourself back into your project. He stands up grabbing both of your coffee mugs and quietly makes his way to the kitchen for refills. He needed that caffeine as much as you did for staying up with you the last two nights to keep you company.

He knew that at this point both of your bodies were running solely on caffeine. He knew that you were the type of person that feels lonely in the middle of the night struggling to finish your work. But most importantly, he knew exactly which buttons to push to motivate you to accomplish your goals; and at this point, all that mattered to Yunho was being able to see you shine when you finally reach the finish line.
