Who's in trouble now?

PIDGE'S POV

It was around seven pm that night. Lance was walking me home from one of the most disturbing moments of my life.

"I think I can take it from here my house it just a few steps away now." I said. "If you say so, bye Pidge" Lance said before he left. I waved back at him and he gave me a smile.

I went over to my house and did the usual. "Hi mom, sorry I'm late, again" I apologized right when I opened the door.

"Thats ok Katie, I got your text. As long as I know you're coming home late, its fine with me" Colleen said without making eye contact.

I gave a small smile as I put my bag down on the couch and headed straight to my room.

"Hm, thats weird, the door is open" I thought. But I just shrugged it off and went inside anyway.

I put my bag down and right about when I was about take out my phone to tell Allura to meet me up some place tomorrow, I heard the door slam.

I jolted up and turned around to see my big brother Matt looking at me with his "you're in trouble" face.

I was a little confused. I did'nt poke around his room today and or did anything to make him mad...........
Except.............
There's no way he saw, but, if he did.........................
I'm in big trouble. Like really, really big trouble.

"Katie?" Matt said in such a tone that it kinda scared me. "Matt? What is it?" I said trying to sound normal.

"You kissed him" he told me glaring at me. I looked back at him with a confused face saying "kissed who? If I recall, I never kissed anyone" I said trying to sound like nothing happened. But I was panicking at the back of my head.

"You know what I'm talking about. I saw you on the road." Matt said coming closer.

How did he see me in the road!? What was he doing there!? My panic alarms are really setting off! And I dont know If I can reply to him with all thats going on in my mind.

I hesitated and looked at him with a straight face, with a hint of fear if he looked close.
"YOU DID KISS HIM!!!" Matt yelled at me.

"So!? You already know that I went on a date with him! What! Am I not allowed to have a boyfriend?! Am I not allowed to fall in love?!" I yelled back at him.

Matt gave me the same cold glare and went out the door. "MOM DAD!!!" I he shouted when he left my room.

I slammed the door behind him and locked it so nobody would come in to ask me about it! I was so mad!
I just wanna murder him on the spot!

I planted my face on my pillow and screamed. I usually do that when I'm furious and I just want to let go of my anger. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does'nt.

A few moments after. I heard someone knock on my door. "Katie? Is this true?" I heard my mom ask. "GO AWAY!" I yelled with tears pricking my eyes.

"I told you!" I heard my brother's muffled voice."Matthew! Your room! Now!" My dad's voice followed. I heard Matt's foot steps as he stomped over to his room and slammed his door.

"Katie?" I heard my mom knock again. This time I ignored it. "Katie we're not mad, let us in, we wont get mad, we promise." My dad said.

I felt a bit better after what dad said. But I was still mad. I got up and slowly opened the door. I looked down refusing to make eye contact.

"Katie, we are no where near mad." My mom said kneeling down to my level and wiped a tear off my cheek.
"You're, not?" I said a little confused.
