A Deal With The Devil

Dan and Phil slowly walked along a dark path that they assumed leads to the entrance of Limbo. They looked at each other when the temperature suddenly changed and it startled Dan into grabbing onto Phil. they continued walking now holding hands, feeling as though they had the whole world against them in being able to complete this task.  

Dan's thoughts were racing in a way that he couldn't comprehend.  Dan wanted control of his head, he wanted to know why he couldn't understand what was going through his brain instead of being stuck in a position where he couldn't tell if he was just stuck in a dream. it was too much of a surreal feeling and he felt like he shouldn't say anything to Phil, just because they were doing things something so important to both of them. 

Phil could tell that Dan was thinking strongly, it was almost as if he could feel it. they continued walking through the dark place and soon enough they came upon a large body of water. "now all we have to do is find a baby I guess. we could probably just baptize it here." Dan spoke into the darkness. It was as if something sensed their presence, because suddenly many women appeared, all of them holding children.

Phil took a risk in talking to one of them, "excuse me, but would you mind me baptizing your child?"

"explain to me you need to do this, and maybe I will let you." the woman talked with a deep voice. 

"We are completing missions for satan himself. we need to follow his direct orders" Phil felt bad for practically lying, but he felt ats though it was what he had to do. 

"if it is for the Lord himself, I suppose you may baptize my child, only under the name of satan. here, the quiet one, id like you to do it" the lady handed her child to Dan and it was as if he woke up from a trans when he heard her speak his name. he carefully took the child from the woman's hands, scooped water from in the ground and ran it over the child's forehead.  he couldn't believe that it could be this easy, but soon after the list given them showed the first task crossed off.

"here you go" Dan handed the child to the woman. she slowly disappeared along with all the other woman, and they had finally finished the first task. Both dan and Phil thought that there was gonna be some trouble coming towards them, but the felt as though they couldn't speak. the feeling got stronger until Phil broke the glass. "I really can't believe that was so easy. I mean, they should have at least put up a fight to us taking their child. what could this mean for our other tasks?"

"I think they are going to get increasingly harder until the last one, being completely insane. I mean technically the last one is meeting with satan but how hard could that be?" 

Phil swapped the subject, "hey i think we might be close, but unless my eyes are messing with me that's a giant monster..."

Dan turnt to see minos, of Dantes Inferno.

A/N helloooo i missed being able to write so much. im back yet again from a little break and hopefully the last. im in school now, meaning i will get aot of writing done during classes and studies, so i might even start a smut book because i still need more experience writing it before i write it for this story. thanks so much for reading!
