I lazily walked out of class with my friend, Diana. She was busy searching through her bag while trying to slow me down."Wait! I haven't finished my story yet!" She pouted. Her stories always took forever to write; Everytime another part would be added.
"Let me guess, there's a sequel?" I said sarcastically.
"Who knows there might even be a follow-up movie for it." She smiled.
We walked along the hall to the other class, not far from ours. The noise inside caused us to slow down, impending the worse. I peeked inside through one of the open windows, spotting the teacher. I moved away before I could be seen. They wouldn't be coming out anytime soon.
"As usual Ms. Campbell is keeping them in there forever. The bell rang ages ago." I sighed. Diana had already found her story; A heavy bulk of pages laid in her hands.
She was busy scanning through her story while I had practically nothing to do. I only sat down in a daze and responded when Diana needed me to. I stared into the classroom from the outside, but was quite evident how they were struggling and only wanted to leave. I looked towards the chalk board where Ms. Campbell was still writing.
"No wonder." I mumbled under me breath. On the board was the horrendous student killing subject, Math. I saluted to the suffering students in my heart. I looked towards where my friends sat. They were both seated in the middle on the class, neither at the back nor front. It seemed as if one had noticed me and I prepared the wave my hand. I hadn't expected though for Ms. Campbell to suddenly turn around.
"Sh*t!" As I moved away I grabbed Diana's hands.
"I think it's best to wait somewhere else until they come out of class."
"You don't say?" Diana replied.
