Trapped in twilight

Chapter 4

I woke up and saw Edward reading one of my books in the corner.

"Morning." I said.

"Good morning Kat, how'd you sleep?"

"Good I guess, you left?" I asked looking at his change of clothing.

"Now what would the neighbors think of me leaving later in the same clothes?"

"Oh right." I sat up and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After brushing my teeth I walked back into the room.

"I'm gonna go eat." I stated while walking down the stairs. Before I could pas the threshold of the kitchen Edward picked me up bridal style.

"I was once told thresholds are my specialty." he set me down once we entered the kitchen.

"By who?"

"I don't know but I like to think that if I get married ,which I don't think I will,that maybe someone will say it." I laughed and sat on the counter eating a bowl of cereal. I looked up to see Edward staring.

"What?" I asked while chewing.

"What are you thinking?"

"That it's creepy how you're just staring."

"Other than that?"

"Nothing really."

"How would you feel if you came to meet my family tomorrow?"

"Um it would be well sure."

Me and Edward sat on the couch watching Insidious 2. The front door burst open and I let out a blood curdling scream.

"I don't wanna die!!" I screamed while running up the stairs only to slip and fall landing in a sitting position at the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh uh hi dad..." I stated.

"I did no scary movies."

"Sorry."

"That's fine. You should get some sleep." I looked towards the couch to see Edward gone knowing I'd see him upstairs most likely. I walked upstairs and in a few minutes fell asleep next to Edward.
