Trapped in twilight

Chapter 5

We currently sat in the car driving to meet Edwards family and I don't know why but I'm terrified I mean I know they'll like me but well I don't know.

We entered the house and Edward led me up a flight of stairs I stopped and turned towards the wall.

"Graduation caps?" I asked

"Uh yeah." I laughed.

"I think it's cute how they've all been saved over the years." We kept walking and walked into a large room with a few couches and chairs. A tall man with blonde hair and a compassionate look on his face stood next to a woman with light brown hair and a loving expression.

"I'm Carlisle, Edwards father." said the man, Carlisle.

"And I'm Esme his mother."

"Nice to finally meet you guys." I stated. Alice, Rosalie, Emmet and I think jasper-or something like that- walked into the room.

"Kat! You're here!" stated Alice.

"Yeah I am uh hi." I said waving to jasper and Rosalie.Emmett walked over and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Um can't..breathe.." I said jokingly. Wait how was I able to breathe I mean he hugged me really tight like I should've choked.

"That's strange." said a man who walked into the room.

"What is Eleazar?" Edward asked.

"She has no heartbeat." Wait what?!

"What do you mean she doesn't have a heartbeat?"

"Wait one second." he walked over and grabbed my hand immediately pulling it away. His hand looked burned.

"She's like Kate, same gift." Edward stared wide-eyed.

"Katerina?"

"Yes Edward?" he looked up at me.

"Why didn't you tell me you're one of us?" he asked hurt.

"What do you mean one of you?" Carlisle walked over.

"You're a vampire." he stated.

"How did I not know?"

"The thing is...you're a hybrid of some sort."

"Um can you elaborate?"

"You're part Augustine and part cold one which is what we are." stated Edward.

"And...?"

"The Volturi found out about you, I don't know how and they're coming."

"Ok.."

"Well Carlisle are we gonna train her?"

"I guess we'll have to."
