Chapter 14 | Court Case

{ Matt's P.O.V }

Perfect. The only word I would use to describe the moment I am living in.

Manny & I packed up the picnic and headed home, his hand stationed on my thigh the whole ride.

Once we got back, we immediately headed for bed, it was considerably late, and I wanted to start getting back on my sleep schedule. Being nocturnal for a week had fucked me up so badly, like come on I'm taking naps during the day and sleeping at any time like come on I'm sleeping like a baby.

I climbed into the sheets and wrapped my arms around Manny, I threatened him yet again to stay put. We snuggled up to one another and shortly fell asleep.

{ Morning }

Probably top 3 best nights of sleep of my life. I woke up to Manny kissing my neck. I tried really hard not to move so he would continue, but I just couldn't. I quickly sat up and tackled him so I was on top, looking directly into his eyes.

"God you are beautiful," he whispered.

I leaned down and kissed him softly.

*DING DONG MTHRFKR*

I groaned, got off Manny and he got up. He looked at me, seeing that I was clearly frustrated, then he kissed my cheek before walking out and answering the door.

{ Manny's P.O.V }

I walked over to the door and opened it, there was a delivery guy there with a large envelope.

"Uh, This is for Manny Gutierrez," He spoke.

"That would be me," I replied as I took the envelope off him thanking him and walked inside, almost slamming the door behind me.

I really wasn't expecting any mail for the next few days so this was a mystery for me.

"What is that?" I heard as I turned to see Matt leaning against the doorframe.

"Honestly have no idea," I giggled slightly.

"Well let's open it up then," He said, sounding slightly impatient.

"Impatient are we today?" I tease.

"Well, I want to go back to bed with my boyfriend as soon as possible," He scowled. I love it when he calls me things like that, It has been something I never thought possible (Low and behold it is BITCH (Dat was mean I sorry lol))

"Anyways, the more you talk about me being impatient, the more impatient I am getting," He folded his arms. (Oi, drinking game for this Fan Fic, Impatient will cause havoc mate lmaooo)

I opened the envelope to reveal the Divorce papers Matt sent to Steph. Unsigned of course. With an attached note.

If you thought I would sign these fucking papers, you would be poorly mistaken. I am determined at this current point in time, to keep Matt bound to me because honestly, I prefer to see him suffer and I need the money (AYE BRO YOU SICK FAM).

I have consulted with the court. In two weeks, there will be a case that I expect both of you to attend as well as a witness. But just be prepared to say goodbye to Matt afterwards. There is no way to stop me.
