“what plan?” Will's heart was beating fast. He knows this wasn't a good sign.

“well, it might get me in trouble... But I'm going to run away” Mike bit his lips, what was he doing? He asked himself.

“RUN AWAY? WHERE DO YOU MEAN?” Will half screamed at his dumbass friend.

“look, you need to help me” Mike stuttered. It hears like he needs help, Will was worried even more and sighed.

“fine, what do you want me to do?” Will rolled his eyes. Mike exhaled and smiled.

“okay, is there a possible way where I stay in your house without getting caught?” Mike ridiculously asked. Will was confused, how dumb is he, really?

“NO, WHA- HOW- MIKE!” Will almost screamed Mike shushed him and Will shuts his mouth.

“fine then, I'm going to stay at a motel or something, but you're DEFINITELY coming” Mike closed his eyes. Will grows up in a strict family, and with school starting. Holy shit!

“Mike... Ugh FINE, FINE I'm doing it because of your dumbass, Michael” Will closed the phone. He went to his room to pack some things, until his supercom staticked.

“Will? You still awake? ” Will smiled. He tried to act cool about his high school crush, but that is definitely not happening.

“yeah, where are you?” Will grabbed his bag and walked out of his room.

“I'm at your front door actually” Mike said casually. Will almost choked hearing that. Already? Will thought. He opened the door to see his best friend soaking wet from the rain that was pouring.

“hi, um” Will grabbed Mike in the hand and pulled him inside.

“you're soaking wet Mike” Will looks at him from head to toe. Mike just giggled and looked through the whole place.

“this is so cozy” Mike looked around. Will just looked at him being all happy about his tiny home.

“is this your room?” Mike pointed at a door with a picture of Will and him there. Will rushed to him and nodded.

“come in” Will holds his hand, nervous as ever. Mike smirked at him and closed the door behind him.

“it's nice, you've been creative” Mike sat on the bed. Soon enough, he layed on the bed and almost closed his eyes.

“hey Will, come here” Mike moved aside. Will's eyebrows pinched and he rolled his eyes. Mike sat down and looked at him.

“you okay buddy?” Mike got up. Will looked at him and nodded.

“you should go home Mike” Will said in fear. Mike was confused, he came all this way, and his best friend just wanted him to go?

“what the hell do you mean? I came here to see you” Will looked at the anger in his eyes and gulped.

“you saw me, so go” Mike was filled with questions. His heart was broke once again.

“you know what? I hate you” Will was shocked at him and ran to Mike who was going away.

“Mike wait-” Mike interrupted quickly.

“wait why? I came here to see YOU, I missed YOU, and I even liked YOU Byers” Will's eyes went wide open. The silent went in. Even if the rain was pouring, all they heard was silence.

“Mike I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-”

“does this seem familiar to you? At Hawkins when you were mad at me because I was spending too much time with El? You were furious at me. I didn't know why until I heard some gossip when me and Lucas were talking” Will looked at Mike in the eyes. Gossip? He asked himself.

“what gossip did you heard?” Mike looked at him and sighed.

“that maybe you... Liked me, And he thinks that's how the fight between us, made sense. I didn't believe it of course but... I was thinking about it” Will was speechless. Will felt his cheek wet in tears.

“Mike, I didn't like you. But if you like me then I'm okay with that, just-” Mike smiled. He looks around if anyone would see, and he hugged Will as tight as he could. Until a brunnete girl walked in from the rain.

“m-mike?” Mike turned back. He didn't know why, but he felt happy. He felt like he fell in love with her again.

“El? Hi I was just-” El was furious, yet jealous at her own friend. How could he? A tear dropped on her cheek. But, she saw Mike with his happy smile, she didn't know if it was for her, or for him. She walked closer and a smile came out on her face.

“hi Mike, what are you doing here?” Mike smiled awkwardly, El was smiling there too. But Will didn't, he rolled his eyes and answered El's question for Mike.

“he was just leaving” Will walked back inside in anger. Mike was going to chase him, but he was too busy on how beautiful El looked.

“Mike, you should talk to him” El held his hand and led him to Will's room.

“please?” Mike looked at her in shock. Well, he sighed and walked in. He closed the door and sat beside Will in the bed.

“hey, I'm sorry. I know I should've been focused on you but-” Will aggressively cuts him off.

“you love El, I know. Besides, it's not like you mean anything you said back there Mike” Will stared at the ceiling. Mike looked at him. He looks at Will's Hazel eyes. It was love at first sight.

“Will, I don't LOVE her anymore. Plus, did you change anything in your face?” Will looked at him confused.

“no what the hell” Mike scoffed. Will was laughing at his best friends dumbass.

“you look different, it's good though” Mike  looks at him happily. Will stared at his eyes and was lost in gaze.

“hey uhm, I gotta' go. I got school tomorrow” Mike grabbed his bag and headed to the door.

“uh Mike wait” Will got up and Mike turned around.

“it was nice seeing you again” Mike giggled and nodded. He walked out with his jacket and went to the bus stop.

Will still had butterflies in his stomach. He missed him already.
