ALICE ROBERTS HAD KNOWN TOM HOLLAND SINCE SHE WAS CAST AS GWEN IN THE NEW SPIDERMAN TRILOGY. The two were always good friends, shared nights out together, gave one another advice, hung out lazily with eachother, and have done since they met in 2016. They shared flirty banter at times, but Tom was always dating, and Alice had a long-term boyfriend.
So when Alice's boyfriend breaks up with unexpectedly, Tom promises her a night out to drown out her sorrows in alcohol, terrible club music, and awful dancing. There was just a slight consequence to their fun outing, their flirting had gone too far when they were both beyond drunk, and ended up in bed together.
The two passed it off as nothing of a big deal, trying to carry on their strictly platonic friendship, but when Alice finds out the consequences had extended further when she turns out to be pregnant, her whole world turns upside down. It was down to her to tell Tom and flip his world aswell.
Alice was sure to face many challenges as she would go through this pregnancy: how would she let her friends and family know about her one night stand? How was she to carry on working? And how would she deal with those feelings that grew for Tom as time grew on?
