The market was buzzy with people. Market stalls were thriving with customers and Nellie Todd was no exception, she had customer after customer. She was stood behind her large stall with all the lovely fruit pies and pastry deserts she had baked earlier.
"Ere love ow bout a nice fruit pie to bake for tonight's dinner?" She called out to a young lady who walked with two bags of food in her arms. The woman shook her head and walked off to which Nellie was straight on to someone else. There was no denying she wasn't a good sales woman, she was loud and chatty which every market sales woman or man had to be.
"Anyone out there ave a sweet tooth?!" She continued to call out only jumping in surprise as a pair of hands grabbed at her hips to purposely make her jump.
Whizzing round she saw Sweeney chuckling along with George. She hit his arm in announce and rolled her eyes "gave me a bloody fright!" She hissed playfully at him to which George continued laughing.
George hugged his mother burying his face in her stomach wrapping his little arms tighter around her "We wanted to come and see you" he mumbled making her smile sweetly at him and then Sweeney.
"Spy on me more like" she said looking directly at Sweeney who simply moved closer running his whole hand around her throat which to onlookers would look threatening.
"Exactly" he whispered before kissing her.
Pushing him away with a smirk playing about her lips Nellie giggled dirtily at the way he was teasing her "now ya both wait in ere" she pulled away a cloth from behind her at the back of her stall revealing a small tent like thing where she kept her extra pastries. At least they would be out of her way if they were to go in there.
"Very well" Sweeney said walking in along with his son. The smell of her bakes filled their nostrils and the pair of them couldn't help but pinch one for themselves. Sweeney sat on a stall in the corner of the tent and smiled at how his son crunched into one of his mothers fruit pies.
They could hear her through the small material of the tent. He smirked at how she spoke to her customers in the cheery thick cockney accent of hers. George was right, she was quite amusing to listen too.
After an hour or so Nellie was beginning to get hungry herself, it was approaching lunch time after all. She could feel her stomach growling at her and decided to pull away the cloth covering Sweeney and George and pinch one of her pastries to eat.
"Sold over 2 dozen" she said proudly as she joined them and selected one of her pies. Noticing Sweeney was sat on her stall she decided to go over and sit on his knee which he was only to happy with. She ran her arm around the back on his shoulders for support and smirked feeling his hands run around her tight corset.
"Not tired Pet?" He asked watching as she bit into her pie and shrugged. "Me poor bones don't enjoy me standing for too long I'll tell ya that" she said to which Sweeney lifted her legs holding her back in support before placing them over both his legs so at least she would be a little more comfortable on him.
"Would you like me to keep watch over your bakes mum?" George asked worried someone might just try and steal one or two.
"Yes dear, just stay close to us and shout if ya need anything, wont be long" she smiled towards him just as he left and stood outside of the tent to watch over her pies.
Crunching into her pie she smiled at the taste and glanced at Sweeney who was just watching her. "They ain't half bad, even if I do say so me'self"
He smiled at this and pulled her closer his lips in line with the crook of her neck. "I've had three already" he smirked seeing her eyes widen at him.
