Asha-chan,
I'm so glad that we got back in contact. Who would have thought that we would like the same volleyball page on Facebook? It's been such a long time!

I have so many questions! I hope you will be able to answer them and don't feel bombarded by them...
Do you still visit the house on my street? I haven't seen you in what feels like forever!

Seems you're still interested in volleyball; do you play anymore? Or does your school not have volleyball in the curriculum, you once said that your parents would rather you favour hockey or ballet.
I'm sorry for the most cliché question ever...How have you been, Asha-chan?

Hopefully you'll receive this soon, I cannot wait to see what you've been up to, Asha-chan,

Sugar-chan :3,
You sort of asked for me to call you that again, didn't you now? :P

I too am glad that we got back in touch! It was great to hear from you! Did you literally write your letter the day after we met again on Facebook?

The house on your street still belongs to my family but the last time I saw you was in fact the last time that I visited. However this summer, my family are intending to spend the whole summer and afterward in Japan...something about business...? Once I graduate from that hell of a boarding school I'm free! College has been such a drag, Sugar-chan!

Volleyball? I haven't had a chance to play much, like you guessed, volleyball isn't on the spec for gym. I joined a club in my first year of college, so I'm still decent at the game but I cannot set anywhere near as well as you can! I'm still more of a libero than a setter.

How have I been? I've been...lonely. My friends are loyal but unlike me, they're actually interested and engaged in class. They WANT degrees in classical literature, fine art, business or law. Don't get me started on their enthusiasm toward foreign languages. I don't like my school, the college is tedious, I'm so excited to leave and get to travel in my gap year before university, where I'll have to endure three years of boredom and hard work to achieve a degree in a class I am yet to care about.

Wow, I've ranted now, I'm sorry, Sugar-chan!
Same goes to you though, Sugar-chan, do you still live on that street? Do you still play?

And now for the return of the cliché question; how have you been?

Asha-chan,
Why did I have to remind you of the "Sugar" thing? Please, next time we meet, call me Suga, I won't be able to live it down if my friends hear you call me "Sugar-chan"! But if your Japanese is anything like what it was...six years ago, (has it really been six years? It feels like forever but it also feels like it was only yesterday!) you'll be calling Daichi "Die-chan" and Asahi "Acer-chan"! Despite the embarrassment, it would be very funny to see their reaction to THOSE names.

I still live in the little house across from your house. It used to be pretty depressing when you wouldn't be at the window, waving at me. It'll be great to see you back there!

Do I still play? Of course! I honestly haven't stopped playing! I'm currently in my last year of High School and am the vice captain, under Daichi and the second setter. It's great to have another setter on our team; lessens my work load and reduces the pressure I'm under.

How am I? I'm well. My exams are on the horizons, which is pretty depressing because exams mean pressure and pressure equates to stress. I am not fond of stress...I guess that's another reason that I'm happy to have another setter on the volleyball team.

Hey, you'll be in Japan during our competition season! That's incredible! Maybe you could watch us play! I'm sure your support would lift our spirits in the worst of games.

Oh, the sun just set. Do you remember when you would watch the sun set across the horizon and muse how now it would be sunrise at home? That always made me happy. Gave me a broader perspective of things.

Hopefully you'll receive this soon, I cannot wait to see what you've been up to, Asha-chan,

Sugar-chan,
If you truly want me to stop with the "Sugar-chan" thing, I will!

Die-chan? ACER-CHAN!?! I'm not that bad at Japanese anymore! I aced my GCSE in it and also aced my AS examination in Japanese before stopping my study this year to focus on fine art, classical literature, business and law. I wish I hadn't stopped studying Japanese... But on the plus side, my last exam is this time in two months time! I'll be sure to send you a photo from my graduation!

Hey, what are your friends like? I'll tell you about my friends if you tell me about yours! Oh, and your teammates!

My teammates are pretty dull, they have o enthusiasm but we work like a machine, maybe it's because these girls are mainly those who study psychology, theory of sport and advanced biology! But nonetheless, we're a team and we won our last tournament. Our ace is Paris, she's the sort of girl that everybody looks at when she's around. I guess that's why her right hand is the pavement artist, her shadow and sometimes decoy; Samantha. Other than them, our team's sort of average but we get fired up by the prize money. Shopping sprees in Venice for some, savings in bank accounts for me.

Oh my GOD! You still remember that sun thing? Oh my god, that's embarrassing! Please, never mention it again!

Asha-chan,
You don't like to remember the sun thing? Oh...I'm sorry I mentioned it then.

Your teammates sound interesting. There are a few photos in the envelope of my friends and teammates. The tall dark haired one is Daichi and the scarier more rebellious one is Asahi. We're the third years on the team. Daichi's the captain, I'm the vice and Asahi's the ace. There are a few second years but the two that you won't be able to forget are Tanaka Ryuu and Nishinoya Yuu. Quite a few first years are on the team too; the short redheaded boy is Hinata Shoyo, our team's decoy, the sinister looking blue black eyed boy beside him is Kagemaya Tobio, the newer more skilled setter. The rest of the team didn't want photos taken of them. I was actually surprised that Kayemaya was up for the picture.

I've told Daichi and Asahi about you and they have already said that they would love to meet you, you have to stop by when you get to Japan. I think Noya and Tanaka are intrigued by you; namely because you're foreign. They are a tad weird.

Hopefully you'll receive this soon, I cannot wait to see what you've been up to, Asha-chan,
