Back at My Castle

As me and Jim walked inside, I walked upstairs to my room. However, Jim stopped me for a minute. "Genesis, wait... I want to tell you something. It's about what we were going to say yesterday.", he told me. I walked back down the stairs and looked at my boyfriend. I knew exactly what we were going to talk about, but I didn't wanted this to be a very long conversation. So instead, I just told him what I wanted to say in small details. "Listen Jim, I shouldn't have said any of that stuff to you the other day. The truth is, if you do leave me, then I'm going to miss you so much. But, I realized that I have to accept what you want. If that academy means so much to you, then you should go.", I explained to him. After I did, Jim held my hands and smiled at me. "I'm not going to the academy.", he said. I immediately get surprised after what he just said. "What?... But, I thought you-", I said until he stopped me. "Genesis, you were actually right about what you told me the other day. I'm going to become vice king of Auradon. And if I leave for the academy, I won't be able to help out my kingdom. And if something happens to it, and you...", he explained. I looked up at Jim and stroked his hair a little bit. I was also tearing up a tiny bit after what he just told me. "You don't need to give your dreams up because of me... I can't take you away from it. It's your decision, not mine...", I said while crying a little bit more. Jim pulled me into his arms and wiped away a few of my tears. I was so emotional at this point, I didn't know what else to say to him. "The only decision I want to make, is to say 'I Do' on our wedding day... And, if I hadn't gone all too happy about leaving this place, then we wouldn't have gotten into that argument.", Jim said to me sweetly. I smiled at him and gave him another hug. "Oh Jim... But, what about the academy?", I asked him. He gave me a smile and kissed my head. "I was able to work it out on the phone last night with Captain Amelia. I told her, as vice king, that we'll have some of the spaceships to be in our kingdom and use them to explore whenever we want. So that way, in case I need to be somewhere for a week or two, then you can tag along with me. So that way, we can be together instead of apart.", he explained. I was extremely happy at this point. He was finally able to make his first order as a king. This got me to jump into his arms and spin around in the air. After placing me down, I looked at Jim and smiled. "I'm so happy that you're staying in the kingdom.", I told him. But as I did, he noticed something different about me. "What happened to your amulet?", he asked me. "This is going to sound crazy, but I got rid of it. When you and the others were turned to stone, I got free from the curse with the powers that were stored inside the amulet. And since there was a lot of magic stored inside it, I was transformed into a dragon. So, after that happened, all of the leftover magic inside the amulet came back to me. And the amulet died out. I gave it back to Fairy Godmother so she can depose it properly. My magic is finally back to normal, and I don't need to wear that thing anymore.", I explained the entire story to Jim. However, he looked so surprised for a second, and I couldn't help but laugh a bit. After giving me a funny face, he looked back to normal at me. "I'm happy for you... Now that things are going back to normal, I now can't wait for next week... Soon, we'll be living happily ever after together forever...", Jim said while pulling me close to him. I smiled at him sweetly, and wrapped my arms around him. "I know... I love you, Jim...", I whispered to him. "I love you too...", he whispered. Afterwards, we both kissed each other. I was so happy that me and him made up for what happened the other day. Now that we were both happy again, all we had to do was get ready for the big day next week.
